beautiful healthy things. every morning when i get off my bus i walk past red bowl and smell the essence of shitake mushrooms and wish they served theirbowlsfor breakfast. the owner, or whomever the gentleman is that’s always taking orders at the register, is always super welcoming and efficient. i've enjoyed every meal from red bowl but was disappointed to get my spicy salmon bowl back to the office to find the whitest 'brown' rice i'd ever seen. guess i misread the menu board. other than rice issue, the only turn-off that has kept me from eating there more often are the styrofoambowlswhich for me are a stark contradiction to the healthy stuff inside them. i wish the bamboo or other more eco-friendly containers where cost effective for them. eating beautiful, healthy things is always more enjoyable for me when eaten out of a beautiful healthy thing.
