bakedvegwas awesome as always & is our favourite , however spring rolls were extremely tasteless filled with noodles without even salt in it. . did not expect any dish to be so bad from golden oaks .

i hope for improvement with my feedback in chinese dishes including spring rolls .

wish i could give you 0 stars. worst in town.
1. we ordered fresh lime soda. there was no soda at all in the drink or was made with all water.
2.vegplatter was all stale. no taste in any of the starters.
terribely disappointed with above 2 we skipped main course and with manger advice we ordered tutti frutti ice cream dessert for dessert. he said it will have chocolate butter scotch and vanilla i've cream with fruits
3. we were served with 2 scoop of ice cream in a glass. no fruits at all. not even the flavours which were promised by manger.

will never will visit again.

so its that one kind of a restaurant where u would want to sit quietly for a family dinner in a dimly lot area. ambience is fine. they have a proper parking which obviously obliviates the hassle. coming to the starters, they have an assorted range in bothvegand non veg. we found the paneer tikka, assorted pakoras, spring rolls to be really good , crispy and tasty. coming to the main course, they have another wide range in again bothvegand non veg.
overall a fine place for an initial soup/ drinks with starters. definitely thumbs up

the lush green landscaped garden and the mango trees welcome you inside the hotel. on entering the hotel, the village themed seating arrangement invites you to a great culinary journey.
ambience - 4/5

we were here for lunch on a working day and hence were the only guests.

food - 3.5/5 - the harabhara kebab was well made, had a smooth texture. it could have been more spicy.
the manchow soup was ok. i liked the mushrooms added in it. increased the protein content.
in the main course, the bestvegwas paneer mumtaz.. lip smacking stuff. highly recommended. the hariyali kabab made in palak gravy was ok, but not too great.
the breads were ok, i had my favorite laccha paratha,though they took a while to make it.

service - 3.5/5
value for money - 4/5. 1 starter, soup, 2vegand indian breads all for rs 1300 for 5 people sounded reasonable.

will i visit again - i don't mind, but there are many more places in bhopal i have to explore before revisiting the golden oak resort

a village theme restaurant which is great and the ambience feels awesome. you have the choice of having your table inside or at the outside. people here generally prefer sitting outside as they have swing type seatings. i would recommend this place to visit only when the whether is chilling as during summers if you wish to sit outside you may get annoyed by the mosquitos and the air throw of the giant coolers. the glasses and plates offered here are of copper and are often stinky and may ask for the change of those. for the food veg/nonveggo for the chef's speciality and you will find yourselves in peace.
trying new delicacies here may be a bit unsatisfying on taste.

golden oak has undeniably amazing ambience and food. bothvegand nonvegdishes are a treat to taste buds. try chicken pakhiza, a chef's specialty.
price is high and service slow.

the ambiance is so different and the traditional touch maks it even more delightful.i preferredvegover nonveghere. paneer dishes are yummy more than chicken ones. those who drink often would like the place more.the dim light lightens up the mood every time you visit you must need much time as the delay in service is major issue here. although worth visiting over again .

veg dishes are better than nonvegdishes. so if you are looking for nonvegit's not a good place . service is fast but if you are partying with friends always cross check bill they may add some extra items (my past experience)

peaceful place a little in the outskirts of the city. ambience is pleasant and the staff is courteous. sitting is divided in two parts, open air and indoor. there's a banquet hall suitable for small parties and all. coming to the food.. bhuna gosht and their chicken speciality is amazing, a mouth watering menu for non vegetarians, we didn't havevegbut the quality of the food gave me the feeling that it'll be worth a try.

super duper place to visit especially in winters. good seating space both outdoors and indoors. perfect for small as well as big gatherings also. must try theirvegplatter as it is sumptuous and delicious. also, their entire range ofvegand nonvegmain course is very good. one must be careful while ordering as thevegdishes are served in huge portions. good place within budget..

i would have rated it 4.5 if the service was quick.
i atevegtandoori platter, very delicious, sufficient amount of tandoors(paneer, mushroom, french fingers, soya chap,vegkaathi rool)

tamato shorba is also nice, better than what is offered at pind balluchi's.

superb ambience. service needs gross improvement.

nice food i visited yesterday i loved the food service quality location was awesome time saving and a huge area loved the garden place authentic nonvegfood

well to start with the place , the ambience was good though the plates & chair's were not at all clean giving me a reason to doubt thier hygiene standards .i ordered some nonvegfood .in starters i liked thier nonvegtandoor platter(it was really good) but the fish finger i ordered was stinking, so i asked them for a replacement, after some arguments they realized their mistake and they agreed to replace it.in case of the main course one thing was consistent ,and that was too much salt in every dish ( but i think if the salt problem was not there it could have tasted good) .well one thing was different many friends of mine told me that their service was very slow but in my case it was very fast .to finish this i was really disappointed with the place as i expected too much (generally in case of food) from it as some of my friends found this place very good because of their food .
