delicious organic and vegetarian mobile food . . .. yesterday we visitedrandita'sgrill on washington's landing (they are a mobile food vendor that sets up on the island on tuesdays and thursdays, and we were kayaking on the allegheny river) and stopped for lunch.
first of all, i was impressed that all of their food is organic. second of all, everything is also vegetarian and healthy . . . and thirdly . . . everything was fresh, clean, and delicious!!!
we tried (and shared) both the veggie burger and the hummus wrap (uniquely paired with hummus, figs, crisp spinach, and colored tomatoes) for our lunch. yumm, yumm . . . both items were extremely good, and they were healthy too!
and the folks running the booth, randy and dale were very nice and personable.
i can't wait to try them again . . . maybe next time i'll try the taco wrap?
i'm gonna try and plan a bicycle trip along the north shore trail and head over to the island so we can come back here again.
highly recommend!!!
