this is one of my most favourite places for a gujarati thali!

love the ambience,the interior and the lighting.

this is a must visit place in ahmedabad for a traditional gujarati thali experience. they also serve the rajasthani thali.

the unlimited meal has all the delicious dishes like bataka, patra, undhiyu, puri, rotli, khichdi, kadhi, chas, gulab jamun and seasonal special items ♥️

i was there for 2-3 times each and everytime i enjoyed a lot ... i think this is the best hotel in ahmedabad... staff was so amazing ... food yummy yummy ... ambiance was great
specially talking about staff so we all just love the way he was serving butter milk ‘’ chas leso jii’’ so now we go any of the hotel or restaurants we always remember this sentence chasss leso ji haha

rajwadu is a mini fort like structure which will greet you with idol of ganesh, and by side, two of the assistants will greet you with a tika on your head.
you'll walk into a garden space leading to restaurant. the restaurant is also an open seating. strategic design of air conditioning system makes you feel at ease, irrespective of the weather.
coming to food, we ordered khichu and bataka vada as starters. khichu is accompanied by some extra oil and pickle spice in a bowl. the small lightweight, rice cake like thing looks very tempting and tastes equally amazing.
the bataka vada served here, had an extra ordinarily soft filling of potato inside and slight crisp in the outside. served along, is green chutney which is moderately spicy.
our main course included, sev tomato, gatte ki sabzi, vagharelo rotlo.
all of them belong to kathiawadi cuisine. sev tomato was spicy as we had asked for. gatte ki sabzi and vagharelo rotlo tasted like authentic kathiawadi food. along with this we ordered butter tawa roti which was hot, fresh and soft.
the beverages we ordered were aadu-nimbu(lemon-ginger concoction) and baaflo. baaflo is a summer special and is a must try, it's a drink made of raw mango (keri).
the staff is very polite and knowledgeable of everything they serve. service is on-time.
everything combined, makes up for an experience for the entire family/friends.

if your in ahmadabad, you must visit this place. it food is awesome and concept is wonderful with lovely ambiance. the waiting area is good giving a village feel while you enjoy the rajasthani dance shows, puppet shows, etc.

the most disappointing dining experience i’ve had in the city.
the staff is pretty rude. they did nothing complain worthy but they’re not at all welcoming. the service plays a major role in the experience and that made the night gloomy.
the ambience is amazing. it’s a really pretty setting.
the food isn’t good. i couldn’t feel any good flavors in any dish.

great ambience, lots of parking space , good food (gujarati cuisine with a special touch). best place to chill out with a group as there s dance, magic , puppet shows in the premises. ala carte as well as unlimited thali option available. usually booked for parties on week ends so enquire before itself. i am not a big fan of gujarati thali owing to the sweet nature of the dishes, but this one did ring my bells. the sabjis were unique (never heard of bhindi capsicum mutter and many unique combinations )and taste wise i gave it a five. smiling service at the food counter though the welcoming party looked a little dull. i would rate this a notch higher than the similar themed restaurants in ahmadabad, no wonder it's always steaming in with people.

this place serves gujarati & rajasthani thali. the place is based on village theme & situated in a large open area amdist the city.
they serve unlimited thali having a mixture of rajasthani & gujarati dishes. food is ok. service is fine.
you should go to this place only if you don't have issues with sitting on the floor and eating.
they do have few tall / chair seats but again it's subject to availability.
since there was a function going on we found it difficult to park. after a struggle of 15 mins we got a parking spot.
besides this place also has a puppet show, fortune teller, music & dance performances.
the ambiance is nice with jholas & a fish pond with small bridge running over it.
despite having coolers & fan it's not a very good idea to visit this place during summers as it's very hot

nice and peaceful ambiance. its a nice village ambiance and really make you feel like at some ancestral village. enjoyed few local performances, food was equally good. service is also very good.

i have to give 1 star to this place because it fails miserably on hygiene. let me give you specific instances. they gave my father two bowls, out of which one was unused. about half an hour later, the guy at the next table wanted an extra bowl and the server blithely picked up the bowl from my dad's table setting and handed it to the other guy! that bowl could have been touched by dirty hands, or used to trap an insect or anything! i shuddered. then, a little while later we saw a server walk by with a large plate full of papad. the wind blew one to the ground and the server just picked it up and put it right back onto the plate! horrific hygiene. i won't even go into the food (mediocre), the ambience (good) or the cultural shows (a gimmick) because the hygiene factor would stop me from returning.

an interesting experience. restaurant owners nowadays tries to get some out of the box concept but most of them fail as it contradicts with the cuisine. rajwadu is one of the best example of a wonderful setup which complements their cuisine. exceptionally great hospitality & food. highly recommended.

lovely gujarati authentic food. the place and ambience truly feels like a visit to the heritage and rural place. there are very few places in gujarat that makes you feel just like home...

pathetic food. not even slightly tasty. interior is nice but people are rude . survice is real bad . never visiting it again .
and also attendants are rude.

cold and tasteless food is served here and there is very less variety in thali. due to marriage functions other guests are distributed
only thing the place is worth for is its ambience and theme.
