good pizza & great service @ good price point. pizza is good and got great flavor. not too large (11 inch), hence it is perfect for a nice meal without overeating. beer is good, they carry a lot of the wiseacre and hcb stuff, which is good since they are supporting local business!

price point is perfect. for about $8 a pizza, i felt good about getting good value as well as not walking out of the place with the guilt of chomping down 2000 calories.

customer service is good too! there were some servers that were very friendly, there we others behind the pizza making counter that didn't look enthusiastic, but didn't provide bad customer service either. just felt they were more transactional instead of relational.

the ambiance is contemporary and very spacious and has enough seats to accommodate a rush hour crowd. the payment logistics (pay up front) makes life simple for both the customers and the servers. ample of parking behind the restaurant. infact, the entrance is behind the restaurant.

my only improvement suggestion is that they need a few more 'pre-fixed' pizza choices. they have a 'build your own', but need some different choices. i would heavily recommend a vegetarian option in the pre-fixed choices.

i wish them all the best in terms of expansion and wish them a profitable business!

very tasty. a little different.. we were in town for beale st music fest and was in the mood for pizza. not a fan of big franchise places so we picked pyro's.
the atmosphere is very nice, wait staff was friendly despite my confusion of exactly how the place works. i dare to say the build is your pizza has a "subway" like assembly line, luckily, the final product taste nothing like subway.
if im ever in memphis again, i would definitely go back.

i would rate pyro's on union a negative number if this system would allow me to. my rating is based solely on the actions of the manager 'jas.' the employees preparing my salad and pizza were great. however, my interaction with the manager was a totally different story. i frequent pyro's, and i've never experienced the level of unprofessional behavior that this manager exhibited. because of past pizzas being over cooked, i asked the lady at the counter if she could check on my pizza because the young man handling the oven had stepped away. i didn't realize she was the manager. i told her i wanted to make sure my pizza was not over cooked. she very rudely said we have to make sure the pizza is done or we could get in trouble. she went on to tell me that she don't know who cooked my pizza before but the young man handling the oven wouldn't over cook the pizzas. i said that obviously i don't want an undercooked pizza but i don't want it burned either. i asked again if she could check my pizza. by this time the young man was back and he did check it. i was standing near the counter and she then said, "you need to sit down over there and wait. you can't be up here leaning on my counter." i was not leaning on the counter. i told her that and i also said that she probably didn't need to talk to me anymore. she said, "well i'm the manager!" i said well just refund my money. i choose not to spend my money where i'm not treated with respect. she couldn't figure out how to refund my money and told me she'd have to take my number and get "someone" to call me on monday. i told her i was not leaving until she refunded my $21.52. she proceeded to call her district manager who she referred to as melanie raymond. apparently melanie authorized her to only refund the amount of my pizza. i refused to leave until i was refunded all of my money. needless to say, melanie should do some basic refresher training for her manager - not for my sake because i won't ever go back - but for the other customers who spend their money at pyro's. this whole situation could've been avoided had 'jas' simply said, "i'll check on your pizza for you."

the first young lady who was prepping the pizzas was early saturday afternoon was one of the rudest people i've ever come across at any pyros. she was mad because i have a gluten allergy. she was terrible. food was still delicious

fast service, even when there's a long line the pizza comes out quickly. every flavor coke product available and they usually have vegan cheese.

a new favorite. i think we have found a new favorite pizza place in memphis....pyro's! if you like a very thin, crispy crust like i do, then this is your place. i like that you can customize your pizza, beginning with the type of sauce and more than enough meats from which to choose as well as vegetables. my creation...pesto sauce with roasted chicken, mozzarella, mushrooms, roasted garlic, and spinach, topped with feta. it is delicious. my husband likes it as much as i do. i can't tell you everything he puts on his pizza. the price makes it even better....two 11 inch pizzas (unlimited toppings) and two diet cokes for a little less than $23.

love this place. i can not get enough of pyro's. the first time i went i wasn't sure how i felt about it, it's hard to find a combination that you like. it's really overwhelming, i've settled on the bbq pizza then i add jalapenos and potatoes and ever since then i've been in love. i typically like a thicker crust for my pizza but i love the pizza here even though it's on the thinner side.

it's really great.

good pizza concept. 1) parking in the back is limited to maybe 15 cars, if it's packed just park next door at the bank.
2) during the week if you are going to eat here you better show up early... i arrived at 11:45.. by the time i stood in line and placed my order it was almost noon and the line was out the back door and down the steps.
3) the concept is fabulous. . it's one thing to go somewhere and place an order and tell them what all you want and hope they get it right... but here its set up like a subway and you watch them put everything on your pizza/salad.
4) i have no idea why the girl who took my original order at the front of the line needed to know that my gluton free crust request was due to a food allergy..
5) they bring your pizza out to you after it has sat in the fire oven for a few minutes. ....
6) didn't really seem to have enough seating for the amount of business they were getting. ..
7) all in all the pizza i ordered was great and the unsweet tea was good as well.

good pizza!. this place is a gem in midtown memphis. ironically enough my mother took me to this place for lunch. i can honestly say the bbq pizza was great! fresh and pipping hot when it arrived at my table. the place looked clean (which is a major thing for me), bathrooms were clean even during the lunch rush. but back to the food... it was great!!! i would definitely go back. the line was a little long but what do you expect at lunchtime.

oh my pyros. for someone with celiacs disease and an avid pizza connoisseur, i have to say that pyros is a breath of fresh air for memphis and exactly what the city needs more of. the gluten free options in memphis are sparse and pyros provides delicious gluten free pizza crust and a limitless amount of toppings for the same price as the others. it's the greatest thing to have come to memphis! gluten free favorite!

great pizza, salads, beer, skillets + awesome soda machine. great place that makes all their dough fresh. thin crust pizza that's super tasty and they actually have great salads and dressing. loads of local micro brews in tap for under $4 - that's better than most happy hours in my experience! love all the toppings i can choose from (as many as i want for no extra charge) in a build-your-own fashion going down a line. everyone is always friendly and helpful. when i'm there in the morning their egg skillets are also worth trying and have the same build-your-own format.
