great pizza!. i'm so glad pure pizza is finally open! so far i've tried the chorizo pizza, and it was absolutely terrific. i love their inventive toppings and delicious crust. they give you a little bit of honey to dip the crust in--i was confused at first, but it is actually really yummy!

absolutely the worst service i have ever had at any restaurant. though it may sound like it, this is no exaggeration. i walked into the market and ordered a small pizza around 11:30 with no one in front of or behind me in line. i was given #11 and was told the pizza would be brought out when ready. naturally, the market got busier closer to noon and more people ordered. i waited 25 minutes and saw pizzas coming out to guests that ordered after me. i grabbed my number and caught the lady walking back to the restaurant and asked if mine would be coming out soon to which she responded "its lunchtime. we are busy". she didn't stop to talk to me, didn't look at me, but continued to walk to the back. so i stood at the counter and told her that i had ordered nearly half an hour before and she responded "that's impossible". the two other cooks behind the counter then proceeded to tell me that it was impossible for me to have ordered 30 minutes prior (even through they opened an hour earlier, so not sure how it was impossible). they told me they were busy, that they didn't have a #11 ticket, that means i didn't make the order, and that it was impossible for me to have ordered when i said i did. one cook, almost yelling, said "it is impossible that you ordered that long ago. i didn't take your order" and i responded that "no, you didn't. the lady (that ignored me) took my order". at no point was anything said to me to make me think i was going to receive what i ordered and paid for, so i kept asking if i was going to get my pizza or not and was ignored multiple times while they griped about me to each other. finally, the lady who initially ignored me (and who actually took my order) found it on the computer and passed the order along to the cooks. at last, one of the cooks finally acknowledged me and barked "mistakes happen" and that it would be one minute for my pizza.

i was not upset when i asked about my pizza. i understand mistakes happen and that tickets sometimes are lost. no big deal. a little bit of simple respect would go a long way for pure pizza employees. "i'm sorry. we will get it right out" would go a long way. not once was there an apology, or any sort of respectful communication whatsoever for that matter.

i work in charlotte nearly 3 months out of the year and pure pizza has always been a must stop for me, but no more. i am honestly shocked at how these employees treat their customers. i'll spend my money elsewhere next time.

pure pizza is definitely the best pizza i've had in charlotte thus far. i ordered the pesto pizza with tomatoes and red onion with a few friends, and it was superb! the crust is thin but stays crispy enough to hold up the toppings, the sauce to cheese ratio is solid, and all of the ingredients added great flavor without overpowering the pizza as a whole. you can really tell with their farm to table approach that they have high quality ingredients based on the taste alone. while this does cause the prices to be a bit higher than pizza chains, the quality more than makes up for it. my only complain is that i wish they had smaller options than 12" so that i could get a personal pizza during my lunch hour at work- but hey maybe i'll just have to feel like pigging out or want some leftovers that day.pure pizza is definitely the best pizza i've had in charlotte thus far. i ordered the pesto pizza with tomatoes and red onion with a few friends, and it was superb! the crust is thin but stays crispy enough to hold up the toppings, the sauce to cheese ratio is solid, and all of the ingredients added great flavor without overpowering the pizza as a whole. you can really tell with their farm to table approach that they have high quality ingredients based on the taste alone. while this does cause the prices to be a bit higher than pizza chains, the quality more than makes up for it. my only complain is that i wish they had smaller options than 12" so that i could get a personal pizza during my lunch hour at work- but hey maybe i'll just have to feel like pigging out or want some leftovers that day.

poor management... trickled down from owner! yikes! don't bet on nice people here.. living social deal alert!! the management here was terrible today at dealing with their living social deal. i bought a deal online at living social. i went last night to try to redeem it thinking 8 pm would be acceptable to use a dinner certificate! well, they were closed. they had a sign that read closed at 7. so, we try again today because although i'm not often downtown, i happened to be in the area again today. well... they can only honor that deal after 4pm!!! so apparently when i bought my "dinner deal" they didn't tell me it could only be used for 3 hours. not acceptable. when i asked to speak with a manager, not only would he not honor it, he wouldn't even walk over to speak with me about it! then, when posting on facebook, the owner was also very unhelpful and unfriendly. don't look for customer service here. this place... not good at all on customer service. they will never see a penny of my money, and i thought you all should know.

bad service and bad pizza. i read great reviews about pure pizza so i thought i would give it a try. the girl at the register had a bad attitude, when i asked to change my pizza crust, her and the cook both looked extremelly angry. when she brought my pizza out, i thanked her and she didn't say a word. i got the pizza to go, when i got home to try it was overcooked and lacked flavor. i've eaten pizza all over the country/world, i found this to be overpriced, and the poor customer service did not help it's cause. i would not recommend pure pizza!

great tomato sauce. enjoyed a large margherita pizza with my sister and husband. we all thought the sauce was great. the side salads with balsamic dressing lots of veggie toppings were good too. it was our first visit and we will be back!

while the other ingredients were super, i am convinced that the carbohydrate component of this dish was the star. the sprouted grain crust was thin, almost nutty, and chewy while still being substantial enough to support the toppings. all in all, the combination of ingredients resulted in a really good pie.... it's a safe bet that i will be returning to pure pizza soon to try some of their other pizza options (i'm looking at you, deconstructed pulled pork pizza!).

pizza lover. i enjoyed the margarita pizza with sprouted dough. it was a little skimpy on the cheese but otherwise tasty.

you can truly taste the fresh ingredients. their sauce is nice and light, with a slightly sweet flavor. also the price point is very reasonable compared to many other "all natural" pizza places.

located uptown in the 7th st public market, pure pizza is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots for lunch.  they specialize in farm to fork pizza, and their toppings are seasonal and sourced straight from the market.  you have your choice of dough:  sprouted ancient grain (which includes quinoa), classic neapolitan  or gluten-free.  my favorite pie is the chorizo, which comes with organic radishes, onions, cilantro, and lime.  each pizza is served with a small container of honey for dipping the crust, which i found surprisingly tasty.  recently, pp expanded their menu to include several sandwiches.  for lunch last week, i tried the caprese sandwich, which comes panini style, pressed and o
