i recently just had dinner at punjab grills. my first impression was really good but then reality hit us hard. the food sucked and even mock tails were not great. fish, panner and even papad was literally bland and didn’t have any taste in it. i would seriously, advice that thisrestaurantis not at all worth the money! good luck, if you still decide to dine in thisrestauranteven after reading this :)

great dining experience. prasad, our waiter served us above and beyond with specific requirements. i'm dairy intolerant and this is the first time i've been to an indianrestaurantwhere they have been accommodating beyond expectation. we look forward to coming back! :-)

zomato shows buffet is there but when we go torestaurantwe find there is no buffet. prices are too costly. i would rather go for a different restaurant.

therestaurantmixed up the orders and sent us someone else’s order. they asked us to dunzo back the wrong order and had not arranged for a partner to pick up my original order. we had to have lunch after a delay of 3 hours. very disappointed with punjab grill service.

i and my brother visit the resturant on 15th may 2017, had and outstanding experience with the staff so friendly the staff are and the ambience is also beautiful also i would like to appreciate for the great service provided to us , especially i would like to thank "mr.dharmendra" who took really good care of us as i was on a visit to uae first time, he made my experience memorable- he suggested the best dishes which was a perfect dinner package felt like homely taste, perfect quantity as asked without wasting food and with absolute ingredients mix and match as requested, which made me fell in love with the taste and he also made sure it was not too fried nor oily inspite of having busy crowd he took gud care , be it - his service , his patience , his smile of greeting and making the new client comfortable as homely feeling his knowledge for suggesting write dish according to the taste is exemplary hats off, well out my three months stay i abu dhabi this is my second resturant which i would rate 5 /5 , it's an outstandingrestaurantone must visit with family i bet ull ove it. this forces me to visit again to uae for just to meet him , other staff and super quality food - its promise will cm soon if fate permits pls continue the outstanding wrk u guys rock.

the culture of punjab from among the cultures of the world has its own unique fragrance. it is said punjabi's are known for their hospitality which came true for us with the services presented to us by mr anil @punjab grill.

the ambience of therestaurantis good with a small ~ medium sitting capacity. you can taste the authenticity of the north, quantity is good but somehow i got the feeling prices are little on the higher end.

however the differentiation factor, which i had and would like to receive again, is the hospitality presented by mr anil. right from the greeting to the recommendation of the day and making sure the guest are at ease mr anil goes to length to make a memorable experience for the guest.

had a buffet dinner and they charged service charges. when asked waiter to remove them off, he simply put the menu in front of me and said they do that as it’s mandatory (which in real life is voluntary and should be asked from customer before adding)

will never visit thisrestaurantagain!!

a fine dining experience with excellent service (5/5) and complementary starters.
the food was delicious regardless of what we ordered. the appetisers included samosa trio (5/5), seafood soup (4/5), hara kabab (5/5). for main course, we had mutton chanp (4/5) rice and daal (5/5), kofta (4/5), bread basket (4.5/5).

room for improvement: since it was our first time i didn't know how spicy the food would be. i believe therestaurantshould keep the room for some spice-customisation because not all expats can eat the amount of spices they normally add. i did struggle a bit with spices despite being a south asian.
cost: 200 per person (excluding alcohol and desserts)
verdict: will surely go back.
