punjab grill

my first time to punjab grill and the restaurant lives upto the 'word of mouth' praise. we decided to visit this place for our wedding anniversary dinner. the hospitality and food was perfect. what stood out for me was, that when reservations were made, we did mention of one us being vegetarian, so vegetarians don't be disappointed looking at the menu and wonder if you dont have much options. there's a separate menu aside from the regular menu for vegetarians. we had ordered the regular must haves applewood smoked sweet potato & starfruit and wateremlon sliders for starters. for the mains, tawa subziyan (they mean serious veggies, as i could easily count upto 10 vegetables in the mix and cooked right, no veggie was undercooked or over soggy) and meat grill. and the must have dessert - the ras malai. best in town! a special mention of the coconut & jaggery cake with saffron cream dessert which is perfect for those who love their desserts but aint in the mood for something super sweet.

punjab grill were kind to make the day special by serving a dark chocolate cake for the occasion. all in all, should you plan a special day or even intend to fine dine at an indian restaurant. this is the place to be!

one of the best fine dining indian restaurant have been in abu dhabi, considering limited options that the city offers.
we ordered, paneer tikka masala in veg starters whereas in non-veg starters it was fish and chicken. the 4 pieces of paneer are enough for two and were delicious with perfect marination and were super soft.  similar case was for non-veg starters, presentation simple and fish/chicken was tender, the way it should be.
we went for something fairly light on main course as we ordered veg. kolhapuri and dal makhani. i believe it was the best cooked kolhapuri with perfect spice and fresh veggies. i suggest one should try. the captain also helped us in deciding the spice factor in the range of 3-5 where 5 being the spiciest, we opted for 4.5 and it wasn't much.
overall fantastic food, ambiance and staff. keep it up!! looking forward for more visits.

by the way dont miss the watermelon slider, its worth it and different.

the best indian restaurant in abu dhabi. i have been here many times, but never put in a review. it's not fair since i have never been disappointed about this place. i love everything in this restaurant. they make the food the way you want it.. spicy or non spicy. try their butter chicken, the best i have had till now. and don't forget their rasmalai.. unique taste. try them. you won't regret it.

4.5 cz i just love every bit of it. the ambience, the food, the sea side, the decor, the service, the silence just everything was perfect!!!!!! i ll see u soon punjab grill. :)

only after having feast at punjab grill one knows why it is got 4.9 rating 😊 the best food i have tasted so far here in abu dhabi. anyone visiting there don't miss their watermelon sliders, just mouth watering.

undoubtedly one of the best restaurants that you will find in uae. for the love of food and in the name of food this is a heaven !

the interiors, the places it's located and the ambience is a irresistible combo along with #foodgasm mouthwatering recipes!

the presentation of each dish is outstanding and each bite if those is such a treat for the tummy .

the special starter or tasters given to the guest is awesome and i wish i live on it.

veg and non-veg are rated highly though i am a veggie my friends equally appreciate the non veg menu.

totally deserves the full grade. service was exceptional but the food was actually beyond description. we tried several vegetarian dishes and we had different special requests and they managed to accommodate them all. hats off to the team

aside from the venue and food being spectacular, the service there is absolutely stunning. i'm a manager in high end luxury retail so customer service is so important to me. the service from every single member of staff in there was immaculate. they went above and beyond to make our evening perfect - and it was. a special mention to our superb waiter pradeep, what perfect customer care. we will most definitely be back! the scallops with cauliflower puree and butter chicken are so worth the trip for foodies!!

definitely the best choice for an indian cuisine dinner! we tried a lot of indian restaurants and punjab grill is by far standing out from the rest of them.

firstly, the atmosphere and the decor is luxurious and comfortable. secondly, the food is delicious with so many distinctive flavours and aromas. we had a vegetarian menu with tawa subziyan, vegetable biryani and dal panjatani. the portions were more than enough for 2 people and we were pleasantly surprised by the aperitif, amouse bouche, the appetizer offered from the house as well as the granita and petite four. everything was impeccable and worthy as a fine dinning experience.

the hospitality is amazing and the staff is approachable and well knowledgeable. many thanks to your staff chander for making our dinner such a pleasant experience. he is extremely kind and attentive and had patience with us throughout the evening. we will comeback to enjoy more and spread the word because punjab grill is probably the best indian restaurant in abu dhabi!

after a long time being in my bookmark i have finally made it to punjab grill!
this place deserves the 4.9 rate i was amazed that a restaurant could reach such a high rate with so many reviews. but after visiting it i understood how can this happen!
the food is amazing cooked so well and flavor of spices is on point!
the starters, drinks and main courses amazed us! i have never tried a lobster in my life and i don't usually risk it when i go to a place for the first time. fortunately i did and the lobster was amazing!

i have visited punjab grils 2 times and tried different items on the menu. the food was good and delicious., and the food came put quick. the atmosphere was great, outdoors in winter time 👍🏻.
