great pizza. we were on our way to another pizza parlor when we read their reviews on urban spoon, changed plans and read the reviews on pomodoro's. best decision of the week, pizza was fantastic. got there 10 minutes before closing and was greeted with smiles. on a scale from 1 to 5 this is a solid 5. will be coming back soon.

over-hyped. pomodoro was highly recommended by the urbanspoon community so i decided to check it out. someone even compared it to the california pizza kitchen and called it a cheaper alternative, but upon visiting the venue i was shocked as to how anyone could compare this kind of pizza to cpk. the crust, cheese, and sauce were certainly not california style. it tasted like your average pizza joint, nothing too special. the pepperoni pizza had some flavor, but needed some parmesan to truly be worth eating. the service was good and an employee there was really friendly to my nephew and i, which made the experience more pleasant. prices were average.

a good place, but i wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

hands down....the best!!!. i've lived in florida for 10 years and have been told that i need to visit numerous establishments because they have "the best pizza". i can honestly say...i have had nothing compared to pomodoro! not only is their pizza the bomb...their cannolis are to die for!

best pizza in valrico. forget about pizza hut,pap johns,dominos,little ceasars and jet's. this pizza joint has the most wonderful pizza in the area!the crust is crispy,the sauce tasty and the cheese bountiful.

love love love this pizza
rosario truly makes a great pie. it's been a long time since a proper pizzaiolo served me and my family up a pie (since we lived in nyc to be exact).
plus all the other items on the menu are delicious.

online ordering time issues. ok without even tasting the pizza i'm not impressed with the service. i ordered online. it said it would be ready in twenty minutes ... so i waited 20 minutes to go get the pizza. i get there and they say they just got the confirmation and it's going to be at least 15 mins. no apologies , nothing . maybe i'm just hangry right now but this pizza will have to be pretty good for me to come back here.

new jersey comes to brandon. my wife and i love the food at pomodoro's. we especially love the pizza and have introduced it to many off our friends. we also like the thin crisp pizza (new jersey style) and the way they prepare the crust.

i love their pizza the best pizza in all of the area but they're online ordering system is terrible i ordered a couple of pizzas it said 20 to 25 minutes once i got there it wz another 25 minutes they had not even processes the order when i got there, but the $ wz debited immediately! pls work on ur online ordering system!

bad experience. yesterday i went and ordered a slice of pepporoni pizza but had to leave because number 1 they forgot or ignored me after i paid for my order. they did catered to every one that came thru the door. i have never felt so uncomfortable and after noticing that i was being skipped i demanded my money back and took my bussines somewhere else. being a minority and coming into this establishment might make you think twice. so be prepared to experience the hostile enviroment like what are you doing here type of attitude.

authentic italian. this was my first time going and i was impressed. i had the spaghetti and meatballs and my girlfriend had the stuffed shells. we ordered a side of bruschetta. all was really good. the meatballs were strange as i tasted veal and cheese but were very finely ground. they were good just wish they had more texture.
the salads were really good as all the lettuce was green and no core what so ever!!
just forthat you get a a++.

quality has changed and flavors are now bland. we love/d pomodoro's, but during our last two visits we noticed that the food quality has changed:

three years ago the meatballs tasted homemade with real basil. now they are frozen, watery, and tasteless. the texture is like puréed meat that's been rolled into a ball.

their arugula salad once burst with flavor. the well-seasoned diced tomatoes are now bland. again, flavorless.

the tomato sauce on the pizza was also lacking flavor. i had to cover my pizza in garlic powder and oregano.

best pizza in tampa bay. by far, the best pizzeria within the tampa bay area. why? because of the quality and quantity of the ingredients, the homemade red sauce and the ooooey, gooooey mozzarella. and, if that weren't enough to bring you in, the customer service is spot on. the guys in this restaurant are as a authentic as their pies.
