authentic, not your regular pizza's!. although im not personally a fan of tasting burnt pieces on my crust, the parts where it is not burnt are great! the flavor is there, even if it's thin it makes up for what you get on top. the cheeses are local, they brew their own iced tea. (don't go in thinking this iced tea will taste like brisk!) i got to try prosciutto for the first time here, def get it on your pizza! the antipasta will be great to start you off. it is a bit dark in there, taking pictures will be a hassle if you want to save some memories. but it's romantic, smells amazing through the building.
now for some cons! expensive! for what they buy their ingredients and things at - it is a bit marked up. again, the burnt crusts from the hearth-y fire can depend on the person, flimsy pizza is messy to eat with hands but not a big deal its delicious! the service is great for when you walk in, constantly checking on you, and they make sure you know the menu and will answer any question you have. however, near the end of our time we had to wait quite awhile to get someone to pack our leftover pizza and get our bill. we actually had to get up and get someone! slightly irritating, since they were doing so well with checking up on us before.
