pizzeria prima strada

simple and delicious. we had dinner here tonight; i had almost forgotten how good the pizza is. they serve delicious, thin crust, wood-fired authentic neapolitan pizza. there aren't a lot of toppings on the pizzas, but the ones they use pack a big punch. they use real quality ingredients- no cheap stuff here. the wine list and drink list is pretty small, but is decent. the gelato for desert is nice and refreshing the service is okay- friendly enough, but not always very speedy. i would definitely recommend this place to satisfy your thin crush pizza cravings.

was ok , not great , not horrible. rather sparse ingredients. won't go back with so many other options out there .

good. went with a group of people on a friday night. pizza was quality taste, i really enjoyed it. but - and i hate to say but, because it was good - but... i'm a person that likes a lot of toppings and this place is not that kind of place. the crust is a thinner but tasty crust, few ingredients, not a ton of cheese. it is really tasty but just very different from our canadian-ized sort of pizza that we are used to. still, definitely tasty, and not a negative review at all.

salad was super basic - just greens and nothing else, and a tossed with a balsamic dressing. again, tasty - but basic.

ruined me for all other pizzas :). wow this place really pulls it all together, fresh local ingredients, amazing flavours and traditional style. i simply can't eat poor quality pizza anymore and really with this place around why would you want to? i have brought out of town guests here just to show them how amazing really good pizza can be!

bad experience. went there for my friends birthday, they charged me twice for my meal on my debit card. i went back the next week when i realized what had happened. they assured me they would reverse the second charge on my debit and stupidly i handed them the reciept and walked out.
they never did reverse the charges.

always great. i have never had a bad experience here. service can be slow at busy times. food always makes up for it.

this was my first visit to prima strada's bridge street location after eating at their cook street restaurant on a couple of occasions.
overall it was a pleasant experience and a good meal. i actually prefer the layout of the bridge street restaurant. it's not as crampt and the atmosphere is more relax.
my friend and i split their clam and mussel in broth appetizer from the specials board. it was pretty good. not the best i've had but pleasant. i would have preferred a more fulsome broth but my dining companion really liked it. different strokes i suppose.
we split their prosciutto pizza for our main. no real complaints from me, except i would have preferred some more orageno in the sauce. i would describe the amount of prosciutto to be generous. they did not scimp.
we each had a glass of a very pleasant wine - a merlot - and the bill with tax but before tip was $55.
service was very good. friendly but not imposing.
overall a good diner out. it's pizza, so don't expect a culinary masterpiece. i would describe it as a good, honest and slightly upscale meal. worth the price.

last night was the first time sheila and i could make it to the prima strada long table dinner. we have been wanting to go since we first saw a table being set up for one more than a year ago.

i used to be a customer, and they have great pizza, but after the way i was just treated by 3 of their staff at the bridge st. location i will never go back and will make sure all our big corporate orders stop. they were incredibly rude and unaccommodating. wake up guys, you're doing well right now but don't let it go to your head. ignoring customers who are waiting to be acknowledged and then treating them like dirt when you finally do is a recipe for losing business. you just lost mine - big time! you guys acted very full of yourselves on the floor and in the kitchen tonight and it was not cool. i won't be back. too bad, because i was a fan of your product.

we love bridge street prima!. this is our number one place to go for an awesome pizza and fabulous wine. we always sit at the bar and always engage in fantastic conversation whilst we dine away. service is impeccable and always prompt. we love this place and frequent often :)

fancy mediocre pizza. cool environment, nice pizza oven. pound for pound, the priciest, fanciest, mediocre tasting pizza i'v had since being in italy.

love it!. intelligent menu offering great fresh food at a reasonable price. staff are friendly and genuinely care about customers' experience. if you have room for dessert, try one! they are sooo good!

service and food were amazing! we always enjoy the atmosphere ! only suggestion is sharper knifes to cut the pizza... it was a little challenging... but then you work off some calories ! will be back for their long table dinners!
