a must on everyone's bucket list. when in chicago, reserve (at least) one meal fordeepdish pizza at pizzeria due. you'll be glad you did. with a little good fortune, you'll be seated near the arch window that overlooks wabash ave (to complete the atmosphere). after a recent fourth visit, i can honestly say it is my very favorite pizza of all time. warning: do not compare the original uno (one block over) & due to the franchise uno's throughout the country, for the difference is day & night. the staff is always friendly, the building is beautiful and the pizza, again, is the best (can't say it enough).

this place serves up the classic chicago styledeepdish pizza. it is a nice place with good pizza and a decent beer selection. expect a bit of a wait if you orderdeepdish.

the main course of a smalldeepdish pepperoni pizza arrives piping hot. the sauce was fresh and flavorful, i liked the use of fresh mozzarella cheese on top, but i got to say, the crust was a huge let down… it had the flavor and consistency of a biscuit. it was oddly flaky, and just crumbled away.

pizzeria uno and due are the original locations for chicago's famousdeepdish pizza.  these two establishments have survived all the skyscraper constructions and all of the imitators that have come and gone with exception to the "big four"deepdish pizza joints.  personally, this was my firstdeepdish pizza experience and that may make me a little biased.

numero uno is aptly nameddeepdish pizza! it also describes this quaint place with a warm grotto feel. the pizza crust is a crisp shell with soft middle, not soggy, with veggies and sausage layered on top of cheese. a taste that grows more flavor with each bite.

if you are near this place and hungry, then go there. if you are not sure of where to eat, then your decision had now been made.

i can just comment on the atmosphere and bar. i didn't order food but i can say the pizza looked great. bar tender alex was excellent. and the old school bar is small but very cool. will visit again when i am in the mood fordeepdish.

had the "numero uno" pizza and garlic breadsticks w/cheese, and it was worth the wait (takes longer to bakedeepdish pizza), good service, although it seemed slightly unorganized. the small pizza was plenty for two people.

i've had better pizza and service.. the building itself and the history is really awesome, however the service and food was poor. cornmeal pizza crust with prego sauce. we sat at least 5 min before anyone acknowledged that we were waiting for the waiter. all of the employees were standing around chatting with each other at the bar area or screaming and laughing in the kitchen. there wasn't a whole lot of people in their for lunch (which says something), but that doesn't mean that they should be standing around and ignoring customers that are in the restaurant. my boyfriend and i ordered a cesar salad that was drenched in dressing to the point that when you picked the lettuce up it was dripping. very gross. the pizza took forever! we ordered a small pizza to split. the sauce tasted like prego. not homemade sauce by any means. the crust was like cornmeal. so dry that when you cut into it, it crumbled like a burnt biscuit. the waiter was nice and friendly once he finally got to us, however when he wasn't with us continued to chat loudly with his 'buddy' at the bar top right next to us. overall, based on the food and service we will not be returning back to this place for pizza. i have had better pizza in chicago. fordeepdish, i highly recommend d'agostino's pizza at 1351 w addison st. fantasticdeepdish!! a real, authentic chicago pizza place. not a chain like pizzeria uno and due. very disappointing.

lovin thedeepdish. i always go here with my family for dinner. parking is trouble as always, but you're downtown! :) thedeepdish pizza is worth the wait but i think the tables are a little too close to each other if you're not sitting in a booth. anyway, pizza sauce isn't too sweet or watered down like some other places i've been to. their pizzas are great & the staff is friendly, as always!!

pizza. one of chicago's founding pizza pie places, my daughter liked it ,. i didn't. but i don't likedeepdish pizza, the thinner the crust the better for me. also upside down pizza just takes some getting used to.

great pizza and service. my friend and i enjoyed dinner at pizzeria due. it was our first time there and the waiter was very friendly and helpful -- assisting us to peruse the menu and select adeepdish pizza. we relaxed out on the patio with drinks and went into the restaurant when the pizza was ready. as most everyone who has eaten at pizzeria uno or due knows, the pizza is outstanding.

i can't wait to take my wife to chicago so we can enjoy adeepdish pizza together.
