...i instantly tasted buttercrust & sausage… those were the first flavors… and they were so good. i am always hesitant to order too many toppings on my pizza

service spotty even though we were their first table of the day. go figure. express lunch was a great value $8 for indiv pizza and salad. pizza uno was great. not to heavy. diet pepsi was really great. not sure why.

after a long anticipated wait to get a seat at this place tonight and then further the 1hr wait for our pizza we were very disappointed with the pizza. it seems the story behind this restaurant is much more enjoyable than the pizza itself. plus not to mention how overcrowded it gets. the pizza was so full of tomato sauce that you couldn't taste the topping or barely see that there was any underneath the sauce. we left feeling sick and all we could taste was the tomato sauce repeating on us. not an enjoyable way to try our first chicago style pizza.

a must on everyone's bucket list. when in chicago, reserve (at least) one meal for deep dish pizza at pizzeria due. you'll be glad you did. with a little good fortune, you'll be seated near the arch window that overlooks wabash ave (to complete the atmosphere). after a recent fourth visit, i can honestly say it is my very favorite pizza of all time. warning: do not compare the original uno (one block over) & due to the franchise uno's throughout the country, for the difference is day & night. the staff is always friendly, the building is beautiful and the pizza, again, is the best (can't say it enough).

i love the pizza from pizzeria due because they don’t overdo the cheese; some pizzerias i’ve been to just have the crust, two inches of cheese and a little marinara and they call it chicago-style pizza. due has a nice butter crust that isn’t too thick and then layers lots of different veggies and meats with the marinara so you have a good mix of everything in each bite. definitely worth a visit if you’re in the chicago area!

in 1943, the very first pizzeria uno was opened in chicago; in 1955 the owners added another deep-dish restaurant one block away and named it pizzeria due. those two restaurants remain icons in the magnificent mile of downtown chicago, and they do not share menu items with the franchise version of uno chicago grill, which now has over 100 locations.

this place serves up the classic chicago style deep dish pizza. it is a nice place with good pizza and a decent beer selection. expect a bit of a wait if you order deep dish.

not sure how you can mess up a club sandwich, but they managed to do so. the bread, even though toasted, tasted so stale. the bacon tasted like it was cooked weeks ago. the basil mayo was way too strong and overpowered everything. i couldn't eat it and left and found another place to eat prior to my flight.

a favorite place for our family when we visit chicago. we live the cute little house but the pizza is the best. there are many great pizza places in chicago and everyone has a favorite. due's is in our top 3!

stopped in late night to grab a pie and a couple drinks while we waited. date went to restroom and i told the bartender i'm going to step out for a smoke. big dude at bar (prob owner/manager) started yelling f*** that, you leave a credit card like i was going to ditch our 2 drink tab?!?! extremely rude and disrespectful. never go there again!! - our bartender pablo was very apologetic and a great server!!

the main course of a small deep dish pepperoni pizza arrives piping hot. the sauce was fresh and flavorful, i liked the use of fresh mozzarella cheese on top, but i got to say, the crust was a huge let down… it had the flavor and consistency of a biscuit. it was oddly flaky, and just crumbled away.

pizzeria uno and due are the original locations for chicago's famous deep dish pizza.  these two establishments have survived all the skyscraper constructions and all of the imitators that have come and gone with exception to the "big four" deep dish pizza joints.  personally, this was my first deep dish pizza experience and that may make me a little biased.
