best chicago deep dish with out the drive to chicago. definitity my favorite.

lunch pizzas. when you only have a short amount of time, try the lunch pizzas. they are quick and delicious and a good size. the spinach is strongly recommended.

lunch pizza. what i really like is the individual lunch spinach pizza. just the right amount of sauce, cheese and tasty crust.

over priced and slow service only come here if you have a lot of time

service and food takes forever. i don't think i'll come back ever

i’m hard-pressed to say the best part of eating here was the food. not because it was forgettable. we were seated at a booth right against the front window, and i have to say that we were well-entertained by the people walking by on the streets while we waited. it wasn’t just dinner, it was a show. my middle daughter kept saying, “i love detroit, it’s so interesting!” yes my love, it sure is.

if you’re a fan of chicago-style, this is one of the few places outside of chicago that does it right. if it wasn’t for buddy’s, pizza papalis would be my detroit pizza pick. even with buddy’s, it’s high on the list.

great pizza and great beer selection. wonderful service. i actually think it was better than the pizza from chicago. the crust was the best part. wait for the pizza it is worth the wait.

up there with buddy's pizza. awesome food and downtown atmosphere. love that place

yummy and great service!. i had a great time with friends last night at pizza papalis! our server was great and our food was delicious. the medium sauce on our wings was phenomenal. and seriously aside from our own good times we had a great time people watching the people on monroe street in greektown. lastly, the pizza was amazing. the crust on the meatlovers was perfect and sauce was totally yummy. the only bad thing i have to say is the use of iceberg on my salad was sort of disappointing. i like romaine or mixed greens but even the rest of my ingredients on my small greek salad were good.

i'm embarrassed for detroit. how is this the "best pizza in detroit?" this city can do better than dry biscut crust, sauce afraid to reach the edge, and low budget topping rationing. come on!

the absolute best pizza i've yet to devour. my only complaint is that the pizza fills you up so quickly. my tastebuds yearn for more, but my stomach says, "no more!" whether you're on the first or second floor, try to get a seat by a window. you'll have awesome people-watching opportunities.

really oor quality. i purchased a deep dish pizza called meat eater's deluxe with italian sausage, canadian bacon, pepperoni, and ground beef. i ask for no italian sausage and added bacon. cost $25.70 i purchased this pizza sunday july 31, 2011 check #00264 and had to wait 45 minutes to get my order. i ended up spending about $50 total, the pizza looked great but the taste really sad, disappointing, and below quality. i did get a piece of canadian bacon a few pieces of ham no ground beef and no bacon, it was the worst and i shared with my co-workers and it was quite a scene for me, everyone was complaining about the lack of meat. out of 8 full slices i cut in half for 10 people i came home with 4 full slices. i really felt bad, at the complains. i don't think i'll ever go back to pizza papalis, greektown again, after the long wait i got below quality pizza, even my 86 year old uncle pot thumbs down to this pizza.
