large group. do not make a reservation with pitch for a large group. they cannot handle it and will not resolve problems. other people's food looked good. i received mine after the group had eaten; two of our group had to leave before the food arrived. it is notgoodplanning to accept a group reservation that you cannot accommodate.

one of the best pizza restaurants in nebraska. pitch has done an exceptional job of building up a clientele that truly knows agoodpizza crust. on top of that, all the toppings are fresh and delicious. they could however be a bit more bountiful at times. i absolutely love the meatball marinara appetizer. i always go in and order of those and a salad as a lunch. i highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. and the price is fairly good.

good but not great. what is great is the brussel sprouts! however, dante's is slightly better and win with a slight margin.

reservation is poor!. the food is ok. a bit more bland, we have been there couple times before. its not that hard to find better food. nothing like a new york pizza by the way, way less real pizza options and the staff is a group of kids. we recently made reservations and they tried seat us at a really small table after a half-hour wait. when we question why it was taking so long they told us our table was still full of people and that "they would not ask them to leave because they were having a great time." so they were seating around talking more or less. when we questioned why they seated us at table for four given we had six people in our reservation, they insulted us with nonsense conversion, in-fact "they do it all the time." then they asked us to wait longer for a bigger table. shorty after they told us "it wasn't going to workout tonight." yeah, poor service and attitude. the manager is a month full too and cant seem to manage a busy and noise room, customer relations, or reservations. the bottom line is you have to "provide" not disrespect customers. you can't let people without reservation enter and stand around. you can't blame your customers for asking forgoodservice. and you can't act like your customers should except being screwed over.

tale of two cities. ok, i get why it's popular. many verygooddishes ie: wedge salad,artichoke stems, pizza, ambiance,excitement, etc. but
don't try "crispy" eggplant. fat , soggy , & i would add, nasty. also waiter forgot to ask for my order , one of 8 people. didn't bring one persons dinner until we were all finished. went through special list, pumped up the filet special w/o mentioning the price. we asked : $55.00 wow at pitch, the pizza place. seems high. i heard a group of doctors bought pitch from willie. must be chi doctors. they are adept at charging exorbitant prices. all in all,goodbut not worth the inconsistencies, high price variances, poor service. to many other places in omaha that do it better.

sunday afternoon visit. we were seated promptly towards the back of the restaurant. it took a little bit of time for our server to get to us, but they were a little busy so i understood. when he came over, he went over the specials and brought us water. he didn't ask us what we wanted to drink until his 2nd visit to the table. my boyfriend's drink was brought out not so soon afterwards. the food was verygoodbut the bread was a little tougher than usual. our waiter then disappeared as we were wrapping up lunch and looking for him to get out check. i spotted him up front watching the football game and drinking some kind of cocktail. i ended up flagging down another waitress to get us boxes and our check. thankfully she boxed our things. our original waiter decided to slide in and bring our boxes over to the table. the food wasgoodbut not for the price and the wait staff got distracted. if you eat here make sure you get seated towards the front, maybe you'll get more attention.

very good, but has the potential to be great. pitch has many of the core elements which a restaurant needs to begood- engaging staff, great decor/ambiance and solid food - but seem to be missing the finishing elements needed to be great. i was in tonight (a monday) and the crowd was decent, sat at the bar as i was by myself, in from out of town. was glad to find it as i've been stuck in the downtown area when i come to town for the last few years - immediately liked the vibe in the dundee area. was engaged by the bar staff (shout out to josh) and offered a range of attractive food and wine options, choose the fresh heirloom tomato caprese salad and mia pizza along with a nice bottle of sangiovese. will have to admit being a bit of a pizza snob as i've worked in a great pizzeria and appreciate the art form. while i would offer that the caprese salad was one of the best i've eaten in a while and i thought the pizza was solid, i felt the pizza could have been better. the home made fennel sausage was great as was the pepperoni, sauce was solid, however i found the cheese rubbery and crust over mixed. this is a coal fired place - the crust is always the focus and arguably one of the reasons to have an oven of that nature, yet when the dough is overworked it becomes tough and looses some of it's essence as it transitions in the oven. would i eat at pitch again - absolutely. will i explore other parts of the menu - absolutely. however when you're in the mood for pizza that's what you want and i hope pitch will pick up on these suggestions and make it great. all the parts are there.

hasn't disappointed yet. have been a number of times, and the pizza is always good. sausage is delicious, pepperoni is, well, pepperoni, and the margherita is very good.

the only pizza that consistently misses for me is the chicken. partly because, you know, you shouldn't put chicken on pizza, partly because it has always seemed dry.

good wine and beer selection, and try the 'bottle and pie' on monday nights for agooddeal.

and do not underestimate the power of brussels sprouts that have ben caramelized to perfection.

is it trendy and loud in here? yes, but that's the point. pitch perfect.

surprised by some of the reviews here, we have always had excellent service. the place is eclectic in decor and during busy times they do push community style dining/seating. pizza isn't the only thing done well here, try their mac and cheese. during lent months they can even make a lobster mac variation that is delicious and has generous lobster portions.

what's with the hot red pepper flakes?. they have half off wine bottles on sunday - and they will cork it for you to take home if you dont finish it. it was really crowded and open seating once the booths are taken up. friendly service. we had the meatballs for an appetizer, they come two (tennis ball sized) in a bowl with a ton of marinara sauce - the flavors were ok, nothing extraordinary. ordered the benny pizza which was really reallygoodexcept for some reason the pizza had a ton of hot red pepper flakes all over the pizza. no where on the menu did it state that they sprinkle red pepper flakes on the pizza. esp since they have a shaker filled with the stuff at your table. i had a slice and was done. my husband loves spicy spicy food so he was in heaven. we're willing to try it again and next time we'll make sure to ask for no hot red pepper. great ambiance, a lot of families and agoodmix of young and old couples dining.

another gem in dundee!. my first experience at pitch today was a delightful experience. we were there at their 11:00am opening and promptly seated and our excellent server, rob, was there with water and menu's and a great description of the day's specials. both of us chose salads. i am seldom impressed with the appearance of the entree salad, but it was almost too pretty to eat...almost. a great variety of textures, tastes and colors...so fresh and crisp. we had ordered the wedge and the chopped salads, and we couldn't have been happier. rob was attentive but unobtrusive...a perfect combination. the menu has a great variety to choose from. it will take several visits to sample what lookedgoodon my first visit. i heartily recommend pitch!

hostess is very rude everytime i come here. today she was slamming silverware on the tables when setting them. no greeting or even a word when she sat us. just an eyeroll. food is okay but notgoodenough to put up with that.

my husband went to pitch on a monday night. the hostess was great and allowed us to sit in the back for a quiet experience. it was our first time there and we really enjoyed the happy hour appetizer meatballs. now, it probably says it on the menu, but i wish our waitress would have told us that pop is served in a can, and that it's $2 for one can before she brought it and opened it at the table. i would have stuck with water rather than one can of overpriced soda. we had the mia pizza and the special-- a lobster pizza with goat cheese, garlic oil sauce, tomato, and scallions. it was really good. but again, i wish the waitress would have mentioned that it was $25 when she recommended it. most of the pizzas are around $18. we probably would have still ordered it, but it's always nice to have a heads up. overall the food wasgoodand came out of the kitchen quickly. i just wish my waitress has been a little more informative.

the best for pizza. i have had several great pizzas at this place. the pizzas are all unique and uniquely baked. the calamari was most amazing. this joint hasgoodmusic, a bit of a hippster atmosphere and very entertaining decor. i have never been disappointed with my food here and they have a great selection of wine as well. a must try. although the prices are a bit high, you get what you pay for. keep up thegoodwork.

it's great to visit a popular restaurant that's also deserving, but i'm kind of pissed they didn't really give me much to pick on. pitch is a crowd pleaser,goodfor bonos and regular humans alike.

hmm. been here a few times and the food isgood- mia's pizza and the shrooms pizza are my favorites. solid meatballs, great hamburgers with truffle fries (awesome now that blanc is closed). service has been hit or miss (mostly miss). the hostesses probably need to find other jobs or learn to put smiles on their faces - we've noticed the same ones each time and they look bothered to be there (hey, i know you are in high school and would rather be doing other things but, really, a smile won't hurt you). and on previous occasions our wait staff were not much better. our waitress this particular night was fantastic so perhaps they could take lessons from her ( wish i would have gotten her name but blond shoulder length hair, worked in the back around 7pm). food is verygoodand hopefully service will get better :-).

p.s. - wouldn't recommend going here on hot days - their ac doesn't seem to work very well.
