great pita pizzas (spinach & tomato is my favorite) and smoothies!

great atmosphere and great food! the mahi mahi with cilantro & jalapeño hummus sooo good! lunch next to the lake and ducks walking next to you so fun!

overall nice but.... i like the place in general. the atmosphere is funky, the food has many healthy choices (love the wood-fired salmon salad and the wraps), the wine list is okay. however, the service is very spotty and hit and miss.
last night, we were delighted with our server. but when we mentioned that the extremely loud noise from the vacuum was bothering us (to the point where a dinner conversation was not possible), he sent the kitchen manager over who was extremely rude. "do you have a problem?", the kitchen manager asked, and when we kindly requested the noise be stopped, he flat out refused, acting as if our request was somehow outlandish.
if that's how pita jungle values its customers, i don't think i want to come here anymore. actually, i was considering it for a party of 10 out-of-town guests tonight and will be going elsewhere. can't risk vacuums next to my dinner table.

i had the mediterranean roasted chicken (shawarma) - grilled marinated chicken breast in a pita, with mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, pickels, garlic sauce and tahini. i've eaten at their restaurant in tempe and the hot pita was just that hot when it was served. although it was still tasty, i would have preferred more than luke warm. i'll go back.

we went for lunch. i wanted vegetarian and wanted, well, meat. we were both satisfied with well prepared meals that were delicious without being overly heavy or fatty.

plus, their beer selection is good and the decor is hip. sitting at the bar, i can't say much for the wait staff because we didn't really need much serving. however, the place was packing and everyone seemed to be popping.

came for the first time. already disappointing. stuck in the very corner of the patio and we were the only ones out there. didn't even have leg room. looked at the menu. what place doesnt have at least 1 fatty item?! i'm a meat and taters girl. haven't even got the food the other half ordered and i'm ready to go.

best lunch spot. my favorite local lunch spot. delicious food, good service and always fast. great lunch for under $10.

limited vegan options. today was my first visit there. i was excited at first glance of the ambiance and of the menu. wow, 3 veggie burgers! it looked as though there were a lot of vegan options. it was disappointing to find out that all their veggie burgers have dairy in them and the babaganoosh has yogurt in it. there's no reason for that, as it adds nothing but cancer causing casein protein to the food. ahh, and one gets tired of hummus all the time. if you are vegan make sure you get the separate list as it doesn't say what all the ingredients are on the menu. i'll probably go back and try the stuffed grape leaves. the veggie pita didn't have much flavor to it, but at least it was whole food and plant based.

steve. you cannot beat happy hour for an excellent meal deal - $10 per person and you'll leave stuffed. chicken shawarma pita sandwich is best in town - ask for an extra pita and you get two meals out of it. friendliness upon entering is non-existent, and have eaten there 50+ times, but servers are great. hostesses act like you're bothering them when you show up - a smile isn't too much effort, is it? however, have never had a bad meal there, and they are always consistent. will never stop going back. mesa location just as good, but acoustics stink - don't expect to have a calm and quiet conversation there.

the hummus and pita bread are just delightful!

hit or miss. while pj has some tasty food, there is a bit still to be desired in many facets.

my own home made tzatziki is better than what they are serving there. pretty sad that they give you two pitas as well unless you order the larger portion... and three is still not enough considering how much tzatziki they provide.

the food is good for the most part, but i've had better at lesser known places. the crammed in, sardine-like feeling you get from tables so close together is pretty annoying, too. it's also super noisy on most occasions.

go elsewhere.

i am never disappointed when i go here. the guava lemonade is amazing!

been here twice once for a family dinner and once lunch with a friend, both times great!. as a vegan its so wonderful to come to a restaurant with many vegan options to choose from , a server ready to be helpful and answer questions about the menu and food that tastes really good. we've tried a few hummus( you'll want some extra pitas),the veggie burrito, its so flavorful and huge! the micro-plate has a little bit of everything the falafal sandwiches are great and the sides we had were all yummy too. i really like the atmosphere too, its shiek , but still good for the kids. haven't had a date night yet to try the drinks, but the bar looks enticing:) well be back again and again.

why can't pita jungle be everywhere?. when i am in phoenix, i eat at pita jungle once per day.
while i get a big kick out of the uber-cool, heroin chic employees, the real draw is the hummus plates and lemon vinagrette on the greek salad.
it never gets old and i've sometimes been two times in one day.
this is the kind of fresh, wonderful food you want to eat and leave feeling light and healthy.
the price is right, the pita are wonderful, and i will continue to work to get this type of fresh, fast mediterranean restaurant in every city i live.
