pilot house restaurant & marina

after a long day of diving, pilot house is the perfect place to go. good atmosphere and our waitress michelle t. was great! the food and drinks were also exceptional. you have to try the friedkeylime pie!

while working in the area a co-worker and i stopped by here for a drink, we had a fantastic bar tender who concocted some very well made drinks. as well theirkeylime pie was outstanding!

great hidden location away from crowds. more of a local feel to it. food very good and after three days inkeylatgo this place had the bestkeylime pie. our waiter took his sweet time coming to us. longer time after each visit. when he left us the bill we waited 15 minutes finally made change at the bar to leave since i was paying cash. if i was paying with plastic i might still be waiting. will go back again but eat at the bar. great view of the marina too.

the fish was very delicious and flavorful. the fries were crunchy. we had a coupon for one slice of freekeylime pie. it had an ok creamy flavor, but didn't taste much likekeylime pie. but, i can't complain too much about free pie. if you want good and tangykeylime pie, check out mykeylime pie recipe! after we were done eating we got to feed the fish (and the birds) right from our table and that was pretty neat. i give the pilot house 5 sporks up!

worst service ever. the service was absolutely awful. 5 of the 6 of us got our meal and then they didn't bring the last meal out until everyone was completely done and ready to leave. then they tried to make up for it by offering a awful piece ofkeylime pie. the entrees were ok and the portions were tiny for what you paid. they fill your drinks halfway and try to disguise it by filling th. rest of the cup with whipped cream. overall, an awful expirience and i would never go back again.

great seafood. i had a combo plate the scallops and shrimp were good - the fish was great-keylime pie was disapointing.
my spouse had the nightly special catch and found the dish to be excellant. we will be going again before we leave the keys.

this is the place you want to eat at when you're inkeylargo. make a reservation and eat outside. you might be able to spot a lobster or snapper through the glass panels that dot along the dining dock. the food was great and priced on point from the smoked fish dip, cracked conch, to the sweet florida lobster and yummy snapper buerre blanc. definitely save room for dessert - they have an incredible ghiradellis chocolate brownie sundae that puts thekeylargo conch house brownie sundae to shame. also yummy? the sweet bananas foster crepe topped with fluffy whipped cream. the kids get a kick out of being able to feed the fish and their menu has the basics they adore. now our server went mia for a bit, but the guy bussing the tables during courses was super nice and attentive - even offering us refills on our water. all in all, i will come back and definitely recommend this to my friends and family.
