this restaurant never fails to provide a delicious meal. quiet and good service withgreatfood. can't ask for more.

good classic take away food, was nice and tasty, quick to order andgreatservice, will come back in the future, only thing we didn't get a bag of prawn crackers.

we were told to eat here by a customer walking out the store haha, it's great.
reasonably priced, and apart from entrees you get really big serves.
i love taking a bottle of red and having a cheap night here.
the tom yum is delicious (hard to find) and im never unhappy after eating here, i even tip them.
worth a try :)

excellent place. yesterday i took my mum and dad to mandurah for lunch. my dad, who has cancer and struggles to walk, wanted chinese food. penang house was closing when we arrived, but the host showed extraordinary kindness in allowing us to eat in the restaurant, and in helping my dad get in. we were made to feel very welcomed and looked after. i was extremely impressed and touched. this is rare behaviour that deserves to be recognized. the food wasgreatas well.

this place deserves to be supported.

always good. we have eaten at penang house a few times, its an asian mix of dishes and always good.
typical of asian, prepared quickly and youre in and out quickly.

delicious and affordable. my husband and i have been coming to penang house since it opened perhaps more than 15 years ago. the service is consistantly fantastic and the owners make an effort to remember name and faces. when ever we dine or order takeaway, it's almost like enjoying dinner with friends. the food is always great. i can't honestly say that i have ever had a bad meal here or seen any bad service and will continue to be a loyal and happy customer for many more years to come.greatfood with simple, clean yet delightful flavours!

a long time favourite!. some of the reviews on here seem absolutely awful and unfair.
my family and i have been going to penang house since 2006 when we lived locally. now we live two hours away and it is still our restaurant of choice!

the owners are very friendly, service is always prompt and polite. those who say it was otherwise- after a busy evening, it is unfair to go into a restaurant very close to closing time - as someone who works in the hospitality industry, i understand this all too well! make the effort to be there before closing and make a booking so they are prepared!

the food has always been delicious and very high quality. it retains authenticity whilst being a take on malaysian which appeals to westerners - so those of you who complain you want 'authentic' malaysian- make it yourself and stop criticizing.
