the service was very slow, after an hour we asked how long our food would be? rudely we was told that they were very busy and would have to wait. we waited a further 10 mins before asking again and we was told another 10 mins. half of our friends food had arrived 30 mins previous and had finished, despite all ordering at the same time. our older guests were left eating some left overs as they needed to eat because of their medication. we decided that we did not want to wait any longer so we canceled the remaining order. when we explained that we were disappointed with the service, we received a very sarcastic bunch of comments.

this restaurant never fails to provide a delicious meal. quiet and good service with great food. can't ask for more.

we thought it's a malaysian food restaurant however found out it's malaysian and chinese. the menu is more like similar to a chinese restaurant. they offered some set menu (sort of banquet) and only two persons minimum (most of other chinese restaurant require minimum four people). thus we decided to go with the set. the portion for each dishes are just right but it could be more. overall the dishes are more saltier than we expected. the only highlights were the satay sauce with the chicken for the entree and the sweet and sour pork which it cooked straight away i think. while the food was not really impressed this time, their service was very nice. the setting, table, chair and floor were very clean and make you feel good.

an excellent restaurant that we use as our local when we drive down to mandurah.  the staff are friendly, service prompt and food amazing.  try the chilli prawns, best i have tasted in perth and we eat out a lot.  it is very reasonably priced.

worst chinese i’ve ever had. just tasteless sorry. the schezuan beef looked and tasted like wood, the lemon chicken was soggy and the sauce was flavourless. i’ve never been more disappointed in paying $81 for food!

good classic take away food, was nice and tasty, quick to order and great service, will come back in the future, only thing we didn't get a bag of prawn crackers.

shockingly bad szechuan beef for the lunch special. the beef was dry and chewy almost to the point of being jerky. minimal sauce that was mostly msg. very disappointing after reading the good reviews on here.

very good. not a bad restaurant if thai silk has no tables left, we ordered lots of stuff the sate chicken was good pity they couldn't spell satay right, lemon chicken and mongolian lamb were divine as well. was dissapointed that deep fried ice cream was not on the menu.

fried keow teow. smokey delicious fried flat noodles with vegies or chicken and beef, awesome with chop chilli and soy

we were told to eat here by a customer walking out the store haha, it's great.
reasonably priced, and apart from entrees you get really big serves.
i love taking a bottle of red and having a cheap night here.
the tom yum is delicious (hard to find) and im never unhappy after eating here, i even tip them.
worth a try :)

excellent place. yesterday i took my mum and dad to mandurah for lunch. my dad, who has cancer and struggles to walk, wanted chinese food. penang house was closing when we arrived, but the host showed extraordinary kindness in allowing us to eat in the restaurant, and in helping my dad get in. we were made to feel very welcomed and looked after. i was extremely impressed and touched. this is rare behaviour that deserves to be recognized. the food was great as well.

this place deserves to be supported.

consistently good, tasty malaysian food. we have been here more than 20 times over many years. we have never had a bad meal or service. the table service is quick but still polite and attentive - always ready to get you something if you ask. the curry puffs, satay chicken (entrees), ginger beef, hor fun, salt & pepper squid are all stand outs. it is also always busy with takeaways so it must be doing something right

not recommended. the place was quite busy but the welcome on our arrival was curt and we were not made to feel very welcome. the food arrived quickly as did the water and wine glasses. unfortunately the food was very very average. the level of msg was very high. both the satay lamb and the chill prawns were tasteless without any real flavour. very bland food. we won't be going back again.
