patisserie rhubarbe (@rhubarbe_mtl) was recommended by a montreal friend of mine, it's a little gem tucked away on a side street with probably less than 15 seats dinning area.
when we arrive on a sunday at brunch hour, the place was packed and there was a line forming just to grab some goodies to go. go thing we were only grabbing some sweets, so eating outside the store was acceptable given the sunny day it was.
love how most of their creation came in cake size.

~ pretty and delicate,loveall the layers of texture and flavors.
éclair banane, passion & dulcey $5.50
~ perfectly done with a traditional éclair recipe with the flavor packed banana cream,lovehow it was the perfect consistency. i am dreaming of it as i am writing this! best éclair!!!
kouing aman $4
~ never had that before, it's basically made with bread dough with layers of butter and sugar folded in. what a buttery and flakey goodness.
pot chocolat $4.50
~ i just had to get this in the cure little pot and it came with a mini wooden spoon. i swear it tasted as good as it look, i justloveit's not too sweet especially the top crunchy dark chocolate crumble that was slightly bitter which was a great contrast to the creamy goodness.
verdict:

~ perfect little yummy goodness at a very reasonably price (unlike toronto which will probably cost you $7-8 each)
