if you happen to be in little italy and haven't visited patisserie alati-caserta yet, you must visit it.

this pastry shop hidden in the neighborhood is a gem for pastry and dessert lovers. it's obvious that it is a family run shop and i believe it's still hosted in their family house.

the pastries and desserts on display are just too beautiful and tempting for anybody to walk away without buying any even though i'm not a big dessert lover.

so i grabbed two of their signature pastries: the cannoli andcodad'aragosta (dubbed lobster tail for its appearance). both tastes great, the shell are crunchy and firm but not too hard or crumbling, and the ricotta and cream fillings are just heavenly and smooth, not too sweet, but the lobster tail is huge, i have to admit at the end i felt a bit fed up even though it's good.

wished they have a a sort of tasting menu so that people can sample a little bit of everything. definitely will revisit it to try some other pastries.

mouth watering treats! offers a variety of pastries! best ones we've tried so far are the cannoli and thecodadi aragosta. they have cannoli with ricotta(one of the best i've had!) and also choco-flavored cannoli. thecodadi aragosta (available in crema and ricotta) doesn't fail to impress! cash only place though.
