we had a lunch here some days ago.the ambience of thisplaceis very nice and the staff behaviour were also very good.we had ordered chicken and pork bio, chicken rice noodles chicken taipai, strawberry mojito
and mango shake.the quality and quantity of food, both were awesome.but one thing i couldn't understand we ordered rice noodles but they served flat noodles.i don't know in thisplacethey might be serve flat noodles as rice noodles.otherwise everything was good.

this is one of the most affordable and budget friendly restaurants in darjeeling. 250 per person for a full meal including soup starter and main course. considering the quality of food, the beautiful ambience and service, it's a pretty decent restaurant at the heart of the city. theplaceserves both chinese and indian and also serves daily specials which is an added bonus. although i found the starters a bit more salty than usual and they tend do overdo it a bit with the chili flakes but overall a decent restaurant.

due to the varied mix of cultures in darjeeling, the local and ethnic food of darjeeling is quite famous.. and the chowk bazaar is a busyplacefor both locals and tourists with the presence of a number of restaurants serving delicious food.. one such favourite restaurant with the foodies is the "park" serving delicious thai, tibetian, indian and chinese dishes.

the restaurant is span over 2 floors and the interior is beautifully decorated. the staffs are well behaved and have a good knowledge of the cuisines. if you are confused what to order, they will guide you well with the dishes as per your choice of buds.

since we came for a tour here, we decided to ditch the common indian cuisines and go for the new tibetian or thai cuisines as per their suggestions.

we had ordered the following dishes:

* chicken coconut soup - it is a thai style coconut soup with chicken and it tasted quite unique and good.

* chicken taipei - on a bit spicy side, this dish is a must try. it contained crispy taiwanese styled chicken prepared in dry chilli paste. tasted awesome indeed.

* prawn thai rice noodles - this is actually served with flat rice noodles with prawn in thain sauce alongwith an egg poach kept on top and bits of spring onion spread over the serving dish. it was well prepared and tasted really good.

i must say that the quantiy of the items was good too and specially i loved the presentation of the food being served to us.

overall it is an excellent restaurant here and a must try for the foodies visiting darjeeling :-)

best smoked pork belly. 
one of the more famousplaceof darjeeling, a bit expensive. 
we ordered smoked pork belly and chicken chilly.
both were good. what i like most was smoked pork belly. it was perfectly roasted. crispy, fat layer was perfect. 
over all a good place, unless you are looking for a cheap eat. prices are a bit high.

fantastic food quality and service. excellent staff behavior and hospitality of the restaurant. the ambience is great. we ordered darjeeling tea, pork momo, chicken momo, chicken thukpa. all were extremely tasty. all had that typical hilly delectable taste. pricetags are reasonable too. cards are accepted too. so... i'll definitely revisit thisplaceand recommend to others.

the park is like no other restaurant you will visit in darjeeling. when it says it serves thai it serves you thai. the ambience is welcoming and the music is ear warming. it is a must visitplaceonce you are in darjeeling. it also serves exotic cocktails !

thisplacehas one of the best ambience and interiors in darjeeling. the food is great but the quantity is less according to the price. but the staff is courteous and helpful. there is also live music to enjoy ! thisplaceis recommended if you are in darjeeling !

it's my favoriteplacefor chinese and thai food.
was a regular at their old outlet, love the newplaceand interiors. food is close to original thai as they source a lot of herbs and spices from thailand. very good service staff too.

the ambience is awesome! the interior is quite cosy and comfortable! a goodplacefor having authentic thai food .
we ordered pork noodles, chicken fried rice, green thai chicken curry , mojito and blue lagoon .
all the items were served with perfection and it will keep you wanting for more.

ambience: decent, you will find a piece of art right down the hallway. it's up to you to find out.
food: the mocktails are well balanced, chinese cuisine is what you should order here. try their momo and ask for the pan fried ones.
p.s. dipesh pradhan is a localite who has been singing at thisplacefor some time now. his songs will lighten up the mood for the evening. kudos, mr. pradhan.

for some quality time over food and booze, one should visit this place.

ambiance: the interior decor has changed over few years. it is good with soothing lights and wonderful music. theplaceis well decorated and maintained. outdoor seating is available too.

food and beverage: the port wine was excellent. along with that the chicken fried rice and chilli chicken was also tasty. food were light and tasty. overall the entire dining is fine and good.

service: service is very good. the staffs we're polite and courteous.

located at chauk bazar just opposite the darjeeling municipal corporation and state bank of india building, thisplaceis hard to miss. the decorations with chinese dragons, golden buddha sitting amidst murals of rock genre and music players gives a perfect combination of the traditional culture fused with rock music. the walls are covered with old cassettes and records and there is a robot made of scraps standing at one end of the podium. there is also live music performance almost every night.

this restaurant was where my dad used to take us out for our family dinners. the crowd was awesome before. but now i don't know why there are so less people eating in this restaurant. they sell the one the best thai in town. you should visit thisplaceif you wanna try some thai food
