location - situated right opposite thedarjeelingmunicipality, the park is one of the true gems ofdarjeelingoffering authentic thai, tibetan & chinese cuisine.
ambience - the interiors provide an exquisite warm tibetan vintage charm.
service - the staff was courteous and the service was very prompt.
food- we ordered thai chicken rice noodles (pad thai kai) - a must try & chicken taipei. the noodles was simply out of the box. it contains generous portion of dry rice noodles cooked in the delectable thai sauce with tossed veggies, chicken and peanuts.
chicken taipei was crispy and a bit spicy. the combination of the noodles and chicken taipei as suggested to us was perfect.
quantity - the quantity is adequate for two.

overall it was an amazing dining experience and will revisit for sure.

due to the varied mix of cultures in darjeeling, the local and ethnic food ofdarjeelingis quite famous.. and the chowk bazaar is a busy place for both locals and tourists with the presence of a number of restaurants serving delicious food.. one such favourite restaurant with the foodies is the "park" serving delicious thai, tibetian, indian and chinese dishes.

the restaurant is span over 2 floors and the interior is beautifully decorated. the staffs are well behaved and have a good knowledge of the cuisines. if you are confused what to order, they will guide you well with the dishes as per your choice of buds.

since we came for a tour here, we decided to ditch the common indian cuisines and go for the new tibetian or thai cuisines as per their suggestions.

we had ordered the following dishes:

* chicken coconut soup - it is a thai style coconut soup with chicken and it tasted quite unique and good.

* chicken taipei - on a bit spicy side, this dish is a must try. it contained crispy taiwanese styled chicken prepared in dry chilli paste. tasted awesome indeed.

* prawn thai rice noodles - this is actually served with flat rice noodles with prawn in thain sauce alongwith an egg poach kept on top and bits of spring onion spread over the serving dish. it was well prepared and tasted really good.

i must say that the quantiy of the items was good too and specially i loved the presentation of the food being served to us.

overall it is an excellent restaurant here and a must try for the foodies visitingdarjeeling:-)

fantastic food quality and service. excellent staff behavior and hospitality of the restaurant. the ambience is great. we ordereddarjeelingtea, pork momo, chicken momo, chicken thukpa. all were extremely tasty. all had that typical hilly delectable taste. pricetags are reasonable too. cards are accepted too. so... i'll definitely revisit this place and recommend to others.

we went on adarjeelingteip recently. i found out this amazing eatery. tried their fish and chips which was amazing served with tartar sauce. there was live music and staffs were anazing. price is on the higher side.

we had our last dinner indarjeelingat this restaurants . what a perfect dinner it was ! the ambience is awesome. we tried chicken biryani (park style ) , prawn thai rice noodles - this was the best and chicken momos, chilly chicken.

this place has one of the best ambience and interiors in darjeeling. the food is great but the quantity is less according to the price. but the staff is courteous and helpful. there is also live music to enjoy ! this place is recommended if you are indarjeeling!

located at chauk bazar just opposite thedarjeelingmunicipal corporation and state bank of india building, this place is hard to miss. the decorations with chinese dragons, golden buddha sitting amidst murals of rock genre and music players gives a perfect combination of the traditional culture fused with rock music. the walls are covered with old cassettes and records and there is a robot made of scraps standing at one end of the podium. there is also live music performance almost every night.

i had been todarjeelingin winters and it was freezing cold. we were looking out for options on chauk bazaar for thai shanghai chinese labenese food and came across this restaurant. we ordered for red and green chicken thai curries , rice , kiwi cooler mocktail, chiken chinese starters, manchurian . the food is nice. the staff is good and the ambience is cool

after looking around for a place for lunch with family ,we randomly picked on park as we were shopping in the nearby area and i must say we were not at all disappointed!! we ordered both vegetarian and non vegetarian food and everything tasted awesome!! they even managed to make a really tasty ' somtam'.i was not expecting a lot from here as i feel most of the restaurants with a few exceptions are over rated indarjeelingbut park does not disappoint!! it's a place which you can enjoy whether you plan on dining with family or even in case you plan on catching up with friends!!special mention goes to mr.bishal who made our experience a pleasant one- he is attentive and friendly.will surely visit again when am back indarjeelingand strongly recommend it to all my friends and family!!
