had a great dinner with a long time friend and client tonight. started with a scotch tasting that was a fantastic start to the meal. for an appetizer we had the lobster deviled eggs which were as good as any i’ve ever had. we both hadsteaksfor dinner that were prepared to perfection and shared an order of the crab mac and cheese. we were both two full for desert.

pappas has top notch decor, service, food and drink. everything you expect and want in a high end steakhouse. it is a huge restaurant, but the service was prompt and personal, and thesteakswere outstanding. the wine list is a huge book with 1,000's of choices, and is one of the best in the country. we highly recommend this place.

there's a lot of steak restaurants. only a handful providesteaksof this high quality. there is a difference. not for every week steak night but definitely for special occasions. in addition to thesteaksthe service is impeccable. imagine a wait staff that actual looks your way in between the drink order and serving the meal.

by far, the best steak i've ever had in the dfw area. better than del frisco's, rick's, ruth chris, and even truluck's (but i feel truluck's atmosphere is more romantic).

place seemed a little cramped, but how they cooksteaksjust blows my mind.

great steaks. good service (not superb), pretty crowded (ie not too romantic). lighting levels great. friendly staff/hostesses.

shrimp remoulade and ribeye!. one of the best shrimp coctails around. the remoulade is amazing. dry agedsteaksare consistently good. service is good. only negative for me is how cramped it is (too many tables too close with small chairs).

best steak ever!. this restaurant has the beststeaksever!! even during restaurant week when restaurants typically cheap out the menu with menu items that aren't their specialty or give you a smaller portion size than normal, this restaurant outshines the competition! the lobster/crab mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy like it needs to be and doesn't lack any seafood either! i highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. great service, atmosphere and food!!

great from start to finish. our entire experience at this restaurant was great. the service was excellent and our meal was amazing from start to finish. every course was delicious!!! we started with a ceasar salad and potato & leek soup. for our main course we had a rib eye and filet mignon wtih creamed spinach. thesteakswere cooked to perfection and the waitress made sure of that before she left our table. and to top off our amazing dining experience, we had a hot red velvet brownie with cream cheese icing ice cream. pure heaven! this place is pricey but worth every cent!!

disappointed. of course if you go here you can expect to spend a lot of money. we went the other night for hrw. paid $100 for 2steaksthat were average. i guess i had very high expectations for the steak since this is the place to eat steak in texas. i've grilledsteaksthat are better than these.

superb! what can i say. i am a steakhouse expert, and this place is the tops. apparently it is the only local steakhouse who dry ages their meat, and boy can you tell. theirsteakshave a nutty buttery taste unmatched by any other local steakhouse. prepare to pay a pretty penny as dry aging isn't cheap, but don't deny yourself, it is well worth it. also try the lobster mac and cheese. cheesy and rich with plenty of lobster pieces. absolutely heavenly. service is impeccable. someone in our party was allergic to fish. we casually mentioned it to the waiter to make sure there was no fish in the appetizer. soon thereafter the manager appeared to confirm the allergy and assure the diner he would personally oversee the cooking of her meal. this place is as close to a ten as there is. as far as as steak

solid. i thought this place was a really solid steakhouse. i didnt think thesteakswere as good as some others i had, but still very good.

if you want to spend the money more wisely i would try bob's or capital grill.

ow, my stomach hurts.. steak floating in butter on a big, oval, greasy plate. good service from obsequious waiters, noisy, expensive, nothing butsteaksor a lonely lobster or salmon dish. everything is drenched in butter - steaks, vegetables, potatoes, you name it. lots of slutty looking women. saw-like steak knives. wood paneling. nice bathrooms with plenty of toilet paper.. you'll need it... and an angioplasty.

i went here with a couple of friends for the first time a couple weeks ago. i was pleasantly surprised. there was a short wait for which we stood on the lovely lounge area and once we got seated the service was fabulous! they came out with our food and it was delicious! one of the beststeaksi have ever had!
