the raspberry pancakes were a wonderful surprise. they are not as fluffy as regular pancakes, and have crispydeliciousedges. they became the focal point of the meal! my wife loved the uptown eggs, a three egg omelette with cheddar, mushrooms, and fresh asparagus. the coffee is good (no espresso available). the bacon was sweet and delicious. the hashbrowns and home fries were okay. my over easy eggs were over medium.

papa's cafe has been here 30+ years, but we found it when they mailed a coupon. the decor and ambience are low budget homestyle, and as you walk in the aroma is wonderful. portions are huge. noise comfortable- 75-80 db when it was busy. parking is easy. bathrooms are small and old, but very clean. they take cash or credit card.
