great classic cafe.. from out of town, and found this cafe via urbanspoon. awesome crepe thin raspberry pancakes that were crispy on the edges. wife got one of the omelets, it came out the size of the pan they cooked it in. great value, great food, with lots of regulars that are known by name. good place to escape from life.

i live in southeastern plymouth and i wss looking for a good oldschool breakfast cafe. this is the place. i've been back every weekend since. the raspberry pancakes are super. so is the service. i always put the texas pete sauce on my eggs.

there's also a great barber next door. cool guy.

delicious food. really. we love the breakfast fare. but unless we sit in lori's section, the waitresses act as if the very act of looking at us brown folk will turn them to stone.

first rate diner. i've been going to papa's for a few years, and never had a bad meal. it's been around forever, and a good safe place to take people when this kind of food is called for.

the pancakes are the best anywhere it's better the having a piece of birthday cake!!! it's really that good!!!

about 10 daily special, all great combinations of flavor. anything with their chorizo is a fave! great food great service great prices! classic old diner with booths and counter seating.

simple cafe, good breakfast. the breakfast menu here is fairly simple, but it has all the classics, and everything we tried was good. i especially recommend the apple cinnamon french toast. portions were large, and service was very friendly.

the raspberry pancakes were a wonderful surprise. they are not as fluffy as regular pancakes, and have crispy delicious edges. they became the focal point of the meal! my wife loved the uptown eggs, a three egg omelette with cheddar, mushrooms, and fresh asparagus. the coffee is good (no espresso available). the bacon was sweet and delicious. the hashbrowns and home fries were okay. my over easy eggs were over medium.

papa's cafe has been here 30+ years, but we found it when they mailed a coupon. the decor and ambience are low budget homestyle, and as you walk in the aroma is wonderful. portions are huge. noise comfortable- 75-80 db when it was busy. parking is easy. bathrooms are small and old, but very clean. they take cash or credit card.

best pancakes ever!. the raspberry pancakes are the best pancakes i've ever had in my whole life. portion sizes on everything are huge and prices are low. new aesthetic touches have transformed the place from a greasy-spoon look to a nice little family restaurant.
