great food, excellent service, very clean and very friendly staff. nice to see young ladies with class and manners. hawaiian style food served hawaiian style.

okay but would be closed if in hawaii or mainland west coast. katsu chicken was dry. mac salad had no flavor. fish meals are good would stick too those on the menu along with the saimin. ahi poke was okey but simply made for the price. spam musubi was terrible for something so easy to make. price is really high for this kine stuff. would be half the price any where west of texas but since it's the only hawaiian restaurant in fl i guess it makes sense . havent tried the kalua pork but after the katsu don't know if i should. guess i will just stick to the fish meals and make all others at home.

we couldn't get a take-out order.. we tried to eat here saturday night. we asked for a take-out menu and they didn't have one. we drove to a different restaurant to order take-out.

this place was the third place my wife and i tried while in navarre after searching urbanspoon and i must say it was by far our favorite. papa nalu's grill has a slimmer variety of dishes but they do each dish very well. they make all their own sauces and each one is scrumptious. the huli huli sauce is magical. the wings with huli huli sauce was life changing. if you are deciding on places to try in navarre, do yourself a favor and make the drive to papa nalu's.

amazing food! i find myself craving it at least once a week. i can't get past the wraps but i'd love to try everything on their menu. and they have delicious desserts as well.

also i love da surfboards on da wall.

fantastic family-owned hawaiian goodness. we were staying on pcb and saw reviews for the papa nalu aloha grill in gulf breeze. we had to try it out. i have to say that we were more than a little skeptical pulling into the strip mall where it is located. (not bad, mind you, just not giving extraordinary promise.)

listen, don't let the outside fool you. this place is great. they offer call ahead seating, although we didn't need it. papa cooks. mom and daughter(s) serve. cool atmosphere and excellent food. the portions were good and the taste was excellent. my wife had the "fall off the bone" ribs... which were just as they were described. i had the kealoha which also was fantastic. the kids also enjoyed their meals very much.

ok, to top everything off... the price was very reasonable. actually, when reading that before that also added to my concern about the place. nope.

this place is great - definitely worth your drive out.

great first visit. ended up trying aloha grill after the bridge was closed and we were unable to get to pensacola for dinner. had a table outside which was nice (even though your view is 98...) and we ordered some of the hawaiian beers they offer. we liked them all and had the sampler appetizer to start. it was pretty small for the price, but we did enjoy everything on there, especially the shrimp. most of our group got the saturday special - the hawaiian burger, which was very good. we had a few of the other plates and rice bowls which were also good - but one of the gals with us was previously stationed in hawaii for quite some time and said the slaw was definitely not authentic. regardless, we had fantastic service and good food. my father collects beer labels and the owner was kind enough to take our bottles back, wash them and bag them up to take home. we'll certainly come back.

the best hawaiian food i've ever had. created my own mahi mahi salad, it could not have been better!!

i eat here every chance i get!  really good food, love their kahlua pork!  their musubi is also quite good, though a little sweet, which isn't what i'm used to, but it's certainly not bad either.  great prices, and friendly, quick service.

well worth the drive to gulf breeze. service was extremely friendly. prices are higher than all of the hawaiian places i've been to before i.e. l&l, but you can tell there is a lot of pride in papa nalu's food. portions seemed small at first, but i left feeling the right amount of full. the chicken was a bit dry, but the sauces fixed that with no issue. we will be back.

i love cuisines from all over and this is one of my favorites. relaxing ambiance, soothing music, friendly staff and great food. i've tried many dishes over time and everything i've tried was great. great place and worth the experience.

great grilled mahi. their menu is great! love the asian dumplings. the grilled mahi wrap is wonderful. love the sauce! good family atmosphere and good service.

love the grilled mahi wrap!. we go here a lot and love the mahi wrap as well as the shrimp wrap. the owners are always on hand greeting people and making sure they are happy. good service. reasonable prices. great little surprise in gulf breeze!
