tiny but quaint. serves unique and interesting ice cream flavors. definitely worth a second visit. i tried:

basta saba- taste was okay, not too sweet, with saba bits that gave it texture.

double chocolate- delightful tablea flavor, a must-try if you want a break from the usual chocolate ice cream.

davao meets bicol- a memorable blend of dark chocolate and sili, it has the same tablea flavor that melts in your mouth. you'll feel the kick from the sili only when you swallow. i don't like spicy food but i'm a fan of this one.

also, it's cool that "pappa diddi" was a lawyer to farmers, who gave him their produce in exchange for his legal services. :)

if you want new things to try, their ice cream is worth taking! they have a range of flavors from starry to fruity and they are all yummy! the free taste of all the flavors is also a big plus as you can really choose what you like. i like it also that they endorse pinoy tastes like carabao milk and kesong puti!

the best ice cream for me!  i love the interiors and how homey it is.  my kids love the coloring activity.  the staff are very friendly to my kids and were really patient with them!  a great family place where you can enjoy new flavors of ice cream you've never seen before!

not too fond of ice cream but i like their cheese closed. there are generous bits of cheese in every spoonful. i would often buy a pint for later consumption or for when we have cravings for ice cream which usually happens late at night. i also like the forbidden rice but they're almost always out of it. the tarragon is nice too and refreshing.

reasonably priced.

we accidentally stumbled upon this place while walking along sikatuna village and i can say it was definitely a good accident!! their ice creams are really good especially when you know they are made locally. i tried their kalingga rice ice cream and my friend tried the baguio strawberry ice cream. it was really good! would surely come back here if we ever get the chance to come back to qc!

first time to try papa diddi's natural ice cream and so far its good and we had so much fun trying their davao meets bicol "spicy ice cream" and their coffee addiction. if you want the ice cream nest you can add 25 pesos for that. the ambiance is so cute and i'll definitely go back.

definitely the ice cream for all seasons! 👍😃 but not so much impressed with their staff. they don't smile at all (maybe they're tired for whatever reason but still, they should be accomodating 😊) and i actually saw someone picking his nose and didn't sanitize his hands until he was to serve another costumer. yikes!!

we'll surely come back to try out other flavors! 😊🍦

worth the price! they offer unique flavors of ice and its all worth it! plus they serve it in a rice plate with cone on top. we tried farm chiz, double chocolate (with dark chocolate), chocolate lovin' (made with pure cocoa), avocado rhum, and roasted forbidden rice (from benguet).

their ice cream is so flavorful. not too sweet kaya hindi siya nakakaumay. i tired pili leni, sweet basil and sweet forbidden rice. all of them we're delicious. affordable pa. nasarapan din yung mga friends ko. anyway, maliit lng pala yung place nila. sa loob kasya lang ang 5 pax then sa labas meron few tables.

it was just a random day when i asked my friend to dine our for a merienda. without any research where to eat, we first ate in a mexican resto and sadly, we were not happy with the food. we didn't want to end our food journey that way so we walked nearby looking for a place to have our dessert. luckily, we passed by at papa diddi's where they serve homemade ice cream. their ice cream was plated beautifully and tasted heavenly. drools! even their interior design was a head turner. we got the perfect spot to take good photos. in the end, our dessert saved the day.

their ice cream is the creamiest and freshest that i have ever eaten. flavors are really unique -- who knew that mountain province rice, star anise, or quezo de bola would turn out to be delicious ice cream? they make ice cream in small batches so you will see different flavors if you hang out in the store long enough. the best part: you can ask for sample tastes of the flavors before ordering.
i don't recommend getting the ice cream on the bed of rice crispies as it is too sweet and hard/sticky for my liking. a cone and cup is good enough to come with the scoopfuls of heaven.
i hope though that they get a bigger space. the place is getting too crowded as they grow more famous.

i love the starry surprise! it tasted like childhood! it reminds me of those tiny colored milky balls in a clear straw that i used to buy in sari-sari stores when i was young.

we also had the turmeric ice cream, which my boyfriend thinks it lacks more spice. but i think it's just designed to be creamy and sweet to become ice cream, with a hint of ginger.

we also ordered the cheese ice cream, which was also creamy and well... cheesy with real cheese bits. kind of reminds me of the sorbetero ice cream, seen during childhood, but milkier.

the place was small and cozy with the wall designs promoting filipino food. the price was definitely value for money.

over all... i will definitely return!

update (march 13, 2016):
yep, we returned the next day haha
this time we tried the forbidden rice, tres leches and double jeopardy. forbidden rice had rice crispies on it. tres leches was very milky (three kinds of milk i think), kind of reminds me of childhood again haha double jeopardy was chocolate with coffee.

what's interesting here is that they have different selections everytime we come. i would still return haha
