does a great job of re-enacting a prohibition era speakeasy in a dimly lit, vaulted basement, complete with live music, dramatic backdrop of criminal mugshots, and staff dressed in flapper dresses, lavish headbands, and pinstripe suits. the cocktail menu was amazing - i loved the andalusian sour (whisky with dragonfruit) and the flower of the mountain (sherry, aperol, and blood orange). both were fruity but not too sweet.
that being said, the wait at the bar is really long on a friday night. there is also a 10% service charge if you get a table.
