one of the best breakfasts in geelong, and the best breakfast i've had in a long time anywhere. coffee great too, highly recommended. busy on weekends so walk in's unlikely.

i have been here a few times now and it never disappoints. it's always busy but the staff never drop their game. the porridge is delicious too!

love this place and love that they're opening for dinner. lovely staff, great food, responsible prices and fantastic atmosphere.

pulled pork shoulder with an apple slaw in a brioche bun and shoe string fries. tastes really good :) perfect location for sunday brunch. they have a great breakfast menu.

we come here for breakfast on a busy morning with 2 adults and 2 you kids. the staff were really great with getting us a table and then moved us to a better one when it become free.

the flat white we had was served just below how and easily drinkable for the get go. also had an espresso which was well measured and clean.

we ordered the breakfast burger, pancakes and a porridge. they were all great but the flavour and texture combinations of the quinoa porridge wth caramelised banana was simply amazing. if they can creat dishes like that on a regular basis we will be marking this as a great geelong breakfast treat.

it's really nice when your biggest problem ordering is that you like the sound of too many of the dishes on offer. this is what happened when we visited this tiny little gem on packo. the service was excellent, despite them being completely full with people waiting for tables (book ahead). we received our coffees quickly, got tips on what to order when we struggled to choose, and had the best chilli eggs i've tasted. food was way above par and coffee equally impressive. i'm not saying it lightly, this is now one of my top two favourite breakfast places in geelong. i'm going back at the first opportunity. probably not that child friendly in terms of manoeuvring prams, and general business but older kids, couples, friends and business people will find this place perfect. 

pakington pantry geelong is one of the newest additions to the newtown end / river end / paris end of pakington street. it’s been running about 18 months and has been an instant hit. it’s a dimly lit, sleek laneway style cafe that appears from the front to be a small hole in the wall with a window that you can order through from the street, but actually as you look in you realise that it packs in quite a few. it’s a long thin building with access from both sides and has as much space as any of the other cafes in the strip. the place is child-friendly when it’s not too busy but it’s a pretty popular cafe because the food is good. therefore be aware that pram access is somewhat limited because of the thin long layout of the cafe.

food and coffee were amazing. atmosphere was busy but great. staff were friendly as well. we all agreed that this is definitely a new favorite and will be coming mor w often.

my favourite is the middle eastern hummus toast with avocado and bacon! yum yum!
teamed with a freshly squeezed juice and it's the perfect breakfast!

the good: the coffee was incredible, the food looks fantastic and the lady who was our waitress was lovely!

the bad: i ordered french toast with no bacon as i'm a vegetarian and was told that was not an issue at all... it was served with bacon, we advised the waitress that there was bacon on the french toast, she took it back to the kitchen and gave me another one... when i went to eat it, there was a small amount of bacon still on the french toast stack, all they did was take the bacon off... i told the waitress again that there was still bacon left on the toast, she took it away again and bought back another pretty quickly and told me they had cooked a fresh stack of french toast, at that point i didn't trust they had actually cooked a new meal... when i asked to speak with the manager i was told he was too busy in the kitchen.

the lady was very apologetic but i can't believe they did that! the lady didn't charge us for the french toast and gave us 50% off the rest of the bill after i expressed my disappointment at the service from the kitchen...

lovely food, amazing staff! also my vego friend was super impressed with the selection for brekkie. there is one lovely girl who usually serves us who is always so bubbly and friendly. love this as my go to place for brunch!

been here 3 times now for lunch. service can be a little slow when they're busy but it's worth the wait. my favourite so far is their homemade sweet potato gnocchi .

loooove pakington pantry brekkies never disappoints, delicious, well presented, consistent, i could eat here every morning, good coffee, nice staff, bit poky to take pram in but that doesn't stop me! please keep doing what ur doing it's fantastic!

service disgraceful food pretty average. been here twice and on both occasions the staff just turn a blind eye even when you wave a hand to get their attention.

the girl working there was rude and told us to get out the way so she could take coffees out she basically appears that she doesn't like prams and babies from her attitude towards us.

the breakfast plate had a yoghurt and museli but it was like eating mascarpone with birdseed.

had better - going back to complain as i've never had such rude service from such a b* waitress and i've been to a lot of cafes around the world and geelong and this hits the spot as the worst.
