i have been to pakington pantry on several occasions and very much enjoyed my experience (this is when it initially opened). the last two times that i have been nobody had addressed me as i stood and waited at the entrance. i understand that a cafe can get busy but to be left standing in the entrance without any acknowledgment from your waitstaffwho have seen me walk in is plain rude and lacking in customer service. regardless if the food is nice, the service very much lacks. i won't be coming back.

hidden away a little out of town this place is awesome. although busy thestaffwere attentive and friendly. coffee was good. what makes this place awesome is the food. i had the omelette. most people think an omelette is simple and easy but more often than not they are served dry and tasteless. this omelette was memorable. perfectly cooked and folded with chunks of serrano ham, charred capsicum, blistered tomatoes and perfect sourdough toast. all with homemade relish on the side. will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

great coffee and delicious breakfast.staffare courteous and friendly, would take one star off for the restaurant being absolutely freezing when we visited but apart from that we’ll be back.

do:
- shukshukah: great aromatic and flavourful dish that was a perfect cure for early morning drowsiness. kale on top was a genius touch. also came with two pieces of soft bread that was also amazing.
- benny: tried a bit of the pork belly in the benny and it was textural in a way i haven’t experienced before. friend also was very happy with the dish.

coffee also solid. restaurant filled withstaffthat love their food and attention to customer service. this would be a top cafe in melbourne cbd

visited here on a sunday morning for brunch and although the food was delicious the service and ambience was ruined due to the focus being on pumping out uber eats orders.  the already busy cafe had the added uber eats drivers squeezing their way in/out andstaffwere running around flustered behind them. our coffees took over 30 mins to be brought out after having remindedstaffand our food was also delayed. i would highly recommend booking a table to avoid waiting and perhaps heading in for an earlier breakfast to avoid the uber eats rush as the food was truly worth the visit.

love pakington pantry! definitely one of the best brunch places in the surf coast. although normally busy (i think this is a favorite for a lot of locals!), the waitstaffare always extremely professional and attentive. the coffee is excellent! and the food...you can’t go wrong! my recent favourites are their famous pakington benedict, and their spanish omelette. their baked goods in the front cabinet are also extremely delicious, and when i’m looking for a sweet treat, i usually opt for the cheesecake. when we have guests from out-of-town, we always take them here...and they’re always impressed!

our top pick for a weekend breakfast outing. love the chicken burger, fritters, chilli eggs and breakfast board. good juice mixes and coffee also.
we went along when they first opened and got to try a few dishes they were working on for the menu. such a great experience!
make sure you book but the menu andstaffwont let you down!

i cannot rate or recommend this place more highly. i have tried countless dishes from the menu (both breakfast and lunch) and have not once ever been left feeling disappointed.staffare friendly and helpful, even on the busiest of days. my favourite cafe in geelong by a mile.

we come here for breakfast on a busy morning with 2 adults and 2 you kids. thestaffwere really great with getting us a table and then moved us to a better one when it become free.

the flat white we had was served just below how and easily drinkable for the get go. also had an espresso which was well measured and clean.

we ordered the breakfast burger, pancakes and a porridge. they were all great but the flavour and texture combinations of the quinoa porridge wth caramelised banana was simply amazing. if they can creat dishes like that on a regular basis we will be marking this as a great geelong breakfast treat.

service disgraceful food pretty average. been here twice and on both occasions thestaffjust turn a blind eye even when you wave a hand to get their attention.

the girl working there was rude and told us to get out the way so she could take coffees out she basically appears that she doesn't like prams and babies from her attitude towards us.

the breakfast plate had a yoghurt and museli but it was like eating mascarpone with birdseed.

had better - going back to complain as i've never had such rude service from such a b* waitress and i've been to a lot of cafes around the world and geelong and this hits the spot as the worst.

best breakfast on pako. love this place! we live on pako and we don't go anywhere else since this gem opened. favourites are the hangover wrap, middle eastern breakfast and japanese chicken burger.staffare friendly and service is fast. sometimes hard to get a table but worth the wait!!

great all day day breakfast! highly recommend the oven baked eggs but everything on the menu looks good! thestaffare so friendly and attentive and the place was packed! well done, this new and vibrant cafe is giving competition a run for its money!
