this is an absolute fantastic breakfast venue. i am a huge eggs benedict fan but i was easily swayed by this delicious menu. i had the smashed avocado with dukah, pomegranate and goats cheese. never would have thought to combine those flavours but was fantastic and fresh. the freshly squeezed juice combinations was also fantastic. and just like mentioned in the other reviews great coffee. the only reason it was not a five for me was that the seating arrangement made it feel a little cramped but i suppose that's what to expect in popular cafes. i will be back to this one, for sure.

omg. i just had the most delicious spanish omelette, packed full with ham, chorizo, cheese and thin sliced potato. the coffee was great as well and the service is efficient, friendly and unpretentious. well worth a visit if you're passing through geelong.

hands down one of the best places to eat in geelong for breakfast and lunch, they are one of the first places to bring that melbourne flava to geelong. i've eaten there regularly, always trying different food, cannot fault it.

a great cafe to check out when in geelong and seems like a popular place.
the coffees are strong and very nice. the food is amazing & well presented. i had the apple porridge which was filling and delicious. while my parents had the banana bread which was accompanied by blueberries, grilled banana & mascarpone which they enjoyed. then my brother had the big breakfast which had many sides with poached eggs.
would love to come back to this cafe to check out some of the other dishes

went for brunch, and had excellent food and good range on the menu. great coffee and the wait staff were prompt and helpful. will definitely be back soon.

have been here a few times now and the food and service is fantastic. have had the hangover wrap which was yummy and the steak sandwich is delicious, the steak isn't chewy or gritty like other places often have. possibly a breakie venue favourite for us

yum coffee (could've been hotter), huge portioned breakfast (we had the french toast, hash brown/ eggs/ toast, pear granola) all of which was delicious! highly recommend, service was friendly and all was reasonably priced!

nice fresh items on the menu which should be a hit in geelong. big downside is that they take reservations and hold tables empty,
making walk in customers wait. attempted to get a table for 2, was seated at the counter and the cafe was less than half full at that time. by the time we were done with our meal an hour later, those empty tables were still empty! with the current brunch hype, you'd make more money not taking reservations and just dealing with walk ins.

our top pick for a weekend breakfast outing. love the chicken burger, fritters, chilli eggs and breakfast board. good juice mixes and coffee also.
we went along when they first opened and got to try a few dishes they were working on for the menu. such a great experience!
make sure you book but the menu and staff wont let you down!

so this morning, my friends and i had our post-nightshift brekky here at pakington pantry. been here a few times before for i love how timely their service is and that they serve lunch menus even at breakfast time. i think today we were the first to come-in as they opened.
so, we ordered slow cooked meat-and-veggie lasagna, boston baked beans, and one of my friends built her own. i thought all meals were presented very well.
i had the baked beans and i thought it was really tasty. then beans weren't overcooked and the ham hock is just perfect. amongst all the baked beans i have had around geelong, this was one of the best.
i had a taste of the lasagna as well. it was alright, although i thought some of the elements have been too mushy - but maybe because it was slow cooked, i wasn't really sure what to expect from it exactly.
overall, the experience was great. highly recommendable.

great cafe for a brunch date. had the eggs benedict that was delicious however was not a fan of the hollandaise sauce infused with apple cider vinegar. was a bit much for me. otherwise it was lovely and service here is great. good coffees too. gets really busy though so book ahead.

wanted to go to winter's next door, but it was closed. pakington pantry was packed at 3pm. it looks nice. inside it was a little cold, so we asked for a table outside. we had a long black and an orange juice. the coffee wasn't great. we took a pumpkin roti and a burger for food. the roti was ok, not really good and a too oily. the burger was nice. the chips are really nice and the sauce you get with them too. the girl that served us was really nice.

i cannot rate or recommend this place more highly. i have tried countless dishes from the menu (both breakfast and lunch) and have not once ever been left feeling disappointed. staff are friendly and helpful, even on the busiest of days. my favourite cafe in geelong by a mile.

i had a mid week breakfast here alone and it was great. the service was fantastic and i didn't feel judged for dining alone, as i have felt at nearby cafes. i had the bircher muesli and it was delicious. great value for money and really filling. the whole breakfast menu was quite substantial and i'll definitely be returning to sample more!
