like bad frozen food. tried paesano's for the 3rd (and now last) time and each experience kept getting worse. we returned because our friends from sa raved about it. food was bland or just tomato-y. it seemed like they just put a ton of (bad) tomato sauce (can't say it was marinara - as all you could taste was tomato) and on osso buco?? it seemed like bad frozen italian food bought for a pot luck.

worst 40 bucks i've ever spent. i had dinner there the other night along with four of my friends. the service was awful; the only good part about it was that we ended up making fun of how horrible the waitress was the entire time. four of us had the special. once the food came out, it tasted like it had been frozen and microwaved to perfection. not a single person ate more than a quarter of the meal except for the guy that ordered the manicotti. he didn't get much further than us. would not recommend this dump.

didn't impress me. the calamari was different, it was good, but different. the chicken alfredo tasted like sauce from a jar. not great. my husband got pizza, and if your kids like chuck e. cheese pizza then get that because that's exactly what it tasted like. the atmosphere was beautiful but i was expecting more.

oldie but goodies!. shrimp paesano and a triple lemon drop martini....always a pleasure!!! the calamari **cannot be beat** now that im on a budget .....i do take out and wait for it at the bar....thats a win!

consistently good.. one of my favorite places (quarry) but don't go as much because i have become more cost conscious in this economy and it is pretty pricey.

service to be admired. always an excellent meal; however, best attribute is the awesome service. they will adapt to your requests with a smile and 'can do' attitude. i have never had a problem with any of their fine restaurants...

i liked it... i've only been one time with my dad and some of his work colleagues before we went to a spurs game, italian and mexican (tex mex, that is ) are my 2 favorite kinds of foods to eat, then chinese, seafood, steak, barbecue, chicken..

old favorite. i have been eating here since i was little 30+ years, and i have never had a bad meal. the food is always great as well as the service. they are famous for the shrimp paesano, you can get it as an app. or meal.

definitely pricey, but it's great. had the shrimp paesano with garlic butter based on another reviewers comments. one of the best meals i've ever had! the seating sucks too close for comfort, especially if you're on a date.

we made a reservation for 7pm. came on time only to be told we had to wait 45 minutes. the girl was so rude and would not accomdate even though there was plenty of empty tables. just bad staging by the hostess. the people there eating and working seemed high stressed. maybe it was good that they were too "busy".

best calamari ever. the basse road location is by far the best of the paesanos locations. they offer the best giant calarmari you will ever have. i recommend the filet and shrimp paesano.
