the food here so unbeatable—even the grumpy old waiter can't get me down. i've been to this restaurant (and even doordashed from it) countless times, and i've never had a dish i didn't love.
if you want a great experience here, these are the dishes you will order:
antipasta— mozzarella di bufala e pomodori
sounds basic, but it comes in the most phenomenal lemony herbedgarlicsauce you will ever encounter ever. they give you a loaf of sourdough bread when you sit down. skip the butter, and order this dish, and then ask for them to toast the bread. cry tears of joy when you dip the toasted sourdough in this herbygarlicmagic.
pasta—gnocchi alla lucchese!
their gnocchi is the most fresh most sensuous pasta you have ever eaten. it comes in a meaty house sauce...but true osteria fanatics know to ask for pesto sauce instead. no extra charge, thank me later ;).
tagliarini verdi con gamberetti
thin spinach pasta with shrimp,garlicand cream. so indulgent it'll probably take a year off your life but damn it's worth it and it probably would have been one of those wasted years anyway.
plus, penne bolognese. just yum.
entrees—melanzana dei vegetarianothe *eggplant*! oh my oh my oh my. not overbreaded, just fresh and tasty!
