for how many times i have been to chop shop i have never been disappointed. the juices are great, the acaibowlis my favorite, and you get get a great ricebowlthere. i like sitting outside as well. i like places where i can do work on my computer and get food at the same time, without feeling like i'm at a restaurant. i have never been at night, but i hear they have open mic nights, which sounds awesome! my only complaint is that they don't have ceramic cups.. i hate drinking my coffee out of a plastic cup. yuck.

i love this place and go here often. i'm usually here for breakfast and get acai bowls, but today i had the teriyakibowlwith brown rice. it's so full of vegetables and fills me up. also love the iced lattes!

it's the modern and casual go-to restaurant for healthy eating in old town scottsdale. whenever someone says, "i want healthy!" chop shop is the first thing to pop into my head. i think a lot of people in old town think the same way because this place is often crowded, especially during peak hours. they've got a wide range of fresh squeezed juices, coffee drinks, and protein shakes to give you the needed boost for your busy day or to keep you cool in this scottsdale sun. i'm willing to admit, i haven't been a fan of a few items on the menu that i've gotten, but i am definitely 100% sold on the tri tip proteinbowlwith forbidden rice and the pitaya superfruit bowl. the flavors are heavenly!

i like to come here to catch my zen. the best white sangria, such a great deal during happy hour! i like to order the proteinbowlwith shrimp and forbidden black rice.

inexpensive healthy foods and juices. this is a casual order at the counter kind of place. i didn't notice anything on the menu costing more than $10.00. i ordered a chicken proteinbowland did the optional $1.00 add on for quinoa instead of brown rice or sweet potato hash. i liked that they used a lot of vegetables in mybowlbut it somehow it reminded me of eating a frozen dinner. i tasted a morsel of my husbands tri tip sandwich and the small amount of beef was very chewy. his sandwich was made with fresh baked in house gluten free bread but was mostly mushrooms just sprinkled with a small amount of beef. i did notice most people were ordering breakfast items so maybe that is more the way to go here.

terrible service!!!!! great food. this place has the worst service!!! i work in scottsdale and when my team and i are looking for a healthy place to eat out at we always turn to chop shop. however, nearly every time there is something wrong with our order. normally, i'm not one to complain but after my experience today i doubt i will be back again. as part of a large order i ordered a acaibowlw/ no coconut! and an american salad. my salad was great. my acaibowlon the other hand came with an obscene amount of coconut though i asked for none. as i was really craving thebowli called to complain about the order which i rarely do. i was initially put on hold for more than 5 mins. even though i was told i was the vm stated there was only one call in que ahead of me. after about 8 min a employee answered then before saying anything else immediately asked me to hold for another 8 mins. after a total wait time of about 15mins a rep came back to take my order. i advised him i was not calling to place an order but to have one i placed previously corrected. he told me that had been having issues with orders (big surprise...) and that a lot of orders got messed up. he then stated that i could drive back down to chop shop and pick up a corrected order. i explained that would be difficult and asked for a refund. i explained that i was part of a larger order. that one person picked up and paid for with his card. we paid him in cash. the employee then put a supervisor by the name of danielle(? i think that was her name) on the phone. she stated she would be able to refund the amount of mybowlin cash and would be willing to switch it out if i came in. i again advised this would be difficult but out of frustration said i would make the trip just to get the issue resolved. when i get to the store i waiting about another 10-15 mins before getting any kind of service. the supervisor danielle then came out gave me my newbowland stated that despite the fact she told me to come down to get a refund it could only be issued to the credit card that was used to pay for the order. what a waste of time!!! i didn't even want to eat the acaibowlafter going through all of this drama and will likely not be back anytime soon. the food is great though if by chance they get your order right!
