not as expected...disappointment. if you're looking for authentic korean/japanese, this isn't a place for you. fusion food, lost it's original taste and pricy as well for what you get. service is too slow...waited 30 min. for appetizer and salad to come. no refill for pop, so be aware of extra charges.

best fries in regina. it may be surprising, but this place has the best french fries in town! i also love their bulgogi burger, and their appetizers/tapas.

call in beforehand. fantastic little place with a very diverse menu. it's only flaw is how quickly the restaurant fills up! i would recommend calling in beforehand if you are planning on going during peak hours (5:30-7:30) to see how busy they are.

sushi rolls are fantastic, and they have a great selection of beverages - from italian sodas to perfectly garnished caesars to cappuccinos.

great place for a coffee. even though most people know it as a japanese restaurant, few know that it has a full service espresso bar offering americanos, lattes and otherwise. combine that with their great deck and convenient location, it makes it a great place to meet friends for an afternoon coffee break.

find over priced, and service was horrible. watched the couple next to me order a nice bottle of wine, and start drinking then to find that when they go to order the restaurant has no more rice. maybe could have indicated this straight away?

i have only been here once and the food was delicious! more expensive sushi than i am used to but a really great experience overall.

delicious!. i always enjoy the food and the service here. my favourite items are agedashi tofu, the crispy roll, and tonight i fell in love with the dolsot bibimbap! so yummy.

i loved the food, and i have had great service every time i've come here. waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. would definitely go again

ate lunch here yesterday--great experience. only one waitress but she was prompt and attentive. had teriyaki chicken which was a small portion but flavorful. the japanese green tea was authentic and served in the traditional asian mug and with a full pot of tea. decor is understated and chic. i will be back!

service issues are starting..... this is one of my favorite places but i have had some disappointing experiences recently. most recently, i ordered their burger for lunch and instead of coming in a bun it came between two slices of toast. i asked what happened and the waitress said that they run out of buns and felt that two slices of toast instead of a bun was acceptable. i sent it back. she did not seem happy with me nor did she apologize.

fun place and good food. i enjoy orange izakaya. it is hip and modern. i tend to stick with the tapas which are imaginative and, most of the time, very well executed. their sushi rolls are excellent: i especially enjoy their orange special roll. the service is usually very good, but can vary somewhat depending on the waitress. i like that it stays open later than many other restaurants near downtown. on the whole, this is one of my favourite places in the city.

not bad food, poor service. i usually like to go and relax, have a couple of small dishes. the last time i went, they got my order wrong and i refused to let him leave it with me. my waitress came around 2 minutes later with the exact same dish and argued with me that i had ordered it. considering that i hate pad thai, i sincerely doubt i ordered it. this is after my water glass had been empty for 10 minutes and only one appetizer had come out. the other was served with my main meal and they made a fuss about packing it up because it took so long to remake my lunch. not even an apology for the wrong dish.

i'm taking a break and hoping new staff comes on, which is a shame because now i need to find somewhere else to have my weekly lunch out.

orange izakaya offers japanese sushi and korean dishes, so it really is a fusion of tastes. without question, our absolute favourite dish on the menu is the dolsot bi bim bap (rice mixed with sautéed vegetables, korean beef topped with a raw egg). it delights the moment it arrives at your table,still sizzling in a hot stone bowl and awaiting a stir or two to blend all the ingredients together. dave and i love the fried rice bits sticking to the sides of the bowl at the end of the meal. i highly recommend this dish!

terrile service. i posted this on another site as well, but i thought that i would include it on urbanspoon...

although the food was pretty good, the service was awful. not only did they spill a beer on me, they charged me for it. it took over 45 minutes to receive the bill (we has to ask for it at the end of the meal, the server, who only had two tables never came back to ours to clear our dishes) and even then it was incorrect. i contacted the restaurant to follow up and advise management about the experience we had, and i never heard back.

we are easy going customers who are not demanding. i understand that servers have bad days, and even when the beer was spilled on me, i did not get upset. what makes me upset is the consistent terrible service, with no appropriate follow-up from management.

there are many great restaurants in regina - avoid this one.

good for lunch. we go here for lunch lots and it's always pretty fast if it's not too busy and the food is always good! the staff is nice and the meals are hot! love the one that comes in a hot bowl with an egg that fries in it!

my favourite regina restaurant. this restaurant never disappoints me. delicious dolsot bi bim babs, great vegetarian options, and excellent prices. i pretty much eat here weekly.
