ollia macarons & tea

wow. ollia hands down makes the best macarons i have ever tried in my life. every flavour is amazing- i would know as, within 5 minutes of walking in and buying 10 macarons to share with my cousins, we were back for more. compared to the neighbouring corbeaux, their prices are more reasonable as well. i simply cannot express howamazingtheir macarons are. i honestly was never a big fan of macarons before, but ollia's are perfect in texture and taste, my cousins and i were all equally impressed. if you're looking for the best macarons in calgary, this is the place to go.

this place isamazingand truly a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of 17th ave. i had the fortunate experience to take their macaron 101 baking class. the staff and owners areamazingand wonderful people. it was my first time to go there and definitely won't be my last. i love that they support other local businesses. highly recommend this place wether you going for an afternoon tea and sweet treat, or want a fun night of learning. love to see them introduce a macaron 201 baking class to continue on the knowledge!

really cute decor and great staff.. this place is really ideal for healthy-tea lovers.. the variety of flavors of tea available areamazingand so are the macaroons..they even have fancy straws and vials of tea leaves.. nothing about this place i didn't like..

i didn't like macarons when i first tried them. they just weren'tamazingto me in any way and i didn't understand why so many people like them. however, when i tried the macarons here they were soooo good! they didn't fall apart and the textures were perfect! not too chewy but not too soft. they weren't too overly sweet, which i really liked. my favourite flavours are rocher (chocolate + hazelnut), early grey, and cookies n'cream. i have fallen in love with macarons since i've tried this place. i'm now on the macaron bandwagon. i'd say this place is comparable to yann haute patisserie, although i do like this place more.

delicious!. ollia has quickly become my favourite place in calgary for a sweet treat! the macarons always taste fresh and come in a wide variety ofamazingflavours. the owners are so passionate about their craft, and offer suggestions for wine pairings with the macarons. these delicious cookies are better than any i had in paris, and the constant offering of new flavours brings me back every week for a half dozen!

ollia macarons are simply amazing. i went into ollia just the other day and met the owner david who is truly passionate about his shop and clearly takes pride in each and every flavor of macaron. every bite was a treat and i shared them around the office.we all agreed each one wasamazingin its own way. here are the flavors we tried and the reviews:
red velvet - delightful and light while also being rich and decadent
earl grey - a perfect pairing with your tea and not over powering
riesling & goat cheese - this was a favorite by far, a few of these with tea and the girls would be anamazingtreat for a girls night
whisky - surprisingly delightful and the whisky comes from a local calgarian brewer
blue cheese - sounds like its going to be scary but this savory macaron is not to be missed
pistachio - simply divine and it really tastes like pistachio :)

delicious tea and macarons! gluten free goodness!!.amazingtea and macarons!! i tried numerous flavors of macarons and cannot decide on a favorite-- all were so good! lemon cheesecake, salted caramel, mint chocolate, candy cane, lavender.... loved them all! had a blueberry matcha latte to go and it was also great. very friendly staff and a beautiful store, i will be back for sure!!
