amazing falafel. as a vegan, it is sometimes difficult to find restaurants willing to accomodate your dietary restrictions. olio was more than willing to help me find a vegan meal! the falafel was recommended to me (without tahini) and it was so so tasty. seriously..better than authentic greek falafel that i've had in the past. it isn't dry like most, it has a tangy and moist flavor. amazing, amazing, amazing!

the name yelling bothers me. the place is already loud so it is difficult to hear. it may just be me, but when a tip line is included on the receipt i feel that they could at least deliver food to tables. that said, the menu has a nice variety and food was yummy.

their homemade lemonade is absolutely delicious! i tried the fish tacos and the crab bisque. tacos were good, very generous with the fish. i didn't care much for the bisque though, tasted like melted butter with just a hint of crab flavor. will definitely go back to try other things!

great gourmet. great gourmet lunch spot. the interior is clean and very well put together. the food is delicious and portions are large. sides are additional but its ok since everything is so tasty and i like having the option to add a side or opt out.

i seldom go into town unless it’s some special occasion, but a recent meeting found me heading that way and my first thought was let’s go to olio.  i have been here before and really enjoy what they do.  a popular breakfast and lunch spot for the many office workers, it fills up quickly.  eat in, take out or order on line for pick up makes this an office workers dream, and the food is always good.  order at the counter, grab your drink and take a seat, when the food is ready one of the friendly staff members will call your name.

oh my god!!! loved it. had lunch today there. i went for the famous grilled duck cheese sandwich and my bf had the shrimp po'boy. both were delecious, but i would definitely come back for the grilled cheese again!!! must try it. and we also had fries with a basil aioli, they were just out of this world!!! can't wait to come here again for lunch and try more out !

olio is the my favorite restaurant in jax. hands down. all of their items are fresh and creative. they feature a quarterly rotating menu with a few classics that stick around. the duck grilled cheese (featured on travel channel), steak and cheese, and shrimp and grits are my favorite.

currently they have a watermelon salad that sounds too weird to be good, but try it, it will knock your sandals off!

food was super fresh and made from high quality ingredients. the fact that they are only open for lunch is a downfall but overall it was a favorable dining experience.

needed a quick bite and it was great choice. pork belly was great and i loved the fries and aioli. will return, if your in the area it's a must stop. clean and not to pricey.

wow great lunch!. we ventured downtown for lunch here to see if this place lived up to the high reviews and i can now honestly say yes. it was worth the drive for us suburbanites and self proclaimed foodies and we both loved the flavor explosions on our dishes. i had the fish tacos which were very flavorful, most likely the best i have ever had. my wife ordered the duck salad and it was also highly praised. ps after trying a piece of her duck i regretted not ordering the duck grilled cheese as it was the perfect consistency not greasy or fatty and flavored just right! next time you will be mine duck grilled cheese :) . we also shared an order of fries which i am kind of a fry snob they were perfect, crispy on the outside and just the right seasoning. yum yes just visit these folks you wont be disappointed. btw i was a little worried about parking but there were plenty of meters available on a weekday at lunch time so no worries. if you work downtown and within walking distance even better. thanks and see you next time.

hey dolls,  after a really cool dinner with a few of my foodie friends last monday, we decided to meet up downtown the next day for lunch.  agreeing on somewhere to meet was easy.  we all decided on   olio market !  our food was so amazing, i had to share it with you! i have heard so many great things about the food at olio so my vote was an easy one.  they are only opened mon-fri from 8am-3pm so i knew if i was going to try them, this would be my last week to do so.  i'll be back at school next week! (summer flew by!)  the lay-out of the restaurant was very open and spacious.  we got there right on time because within minutes the line was seriously around the corner! i also liked the exhibition style kitchen!  i love it when i can see my food being prepared!  that's the best!  speaking of the best, i ordered one of the best po-boys i have ever tasted!  this is their shrimp po-boy and it was packed with flavor!  besides the succulent shrimp, it had andouille sausage and jalepeno colesl

very good. my wife and i were lucky enough to enjoy lunch here on a much needed vacation day during the week. i have to say, i wish i would have been able to come here and try it sooner. we have been to all the other local chef/private owned restaurants and this is definitely up there a the top. it has the basic breakfast/lunch style setup. go up, order your food and wait for your name to be called. i got their special of the day, the cuban sandwich and my wife got their famous duck grilled cheese. both were extremely good. we also ordered a large fry and side salad to split. the fries were so good and so was the dipping sauce. i highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal. the prices are also not bad for this type of restaurant. my wife and i split a fountain drink and walked away spending $25. so while not cheap, not bad for supporting local and having an awesome meal. it is also nice to mention that they locally source as much of their food as they can. we will definitely be back. this is a must go to place if you are visiting town!
