olea - kempinski hotel mall of the emirates

located in the kempenski hotel mall of the emirates. it serves levantine cuisine from falfel, mansaf, maqlobe, kebe neye, lentil soup, msakhan, nakanek (sausage) and many more. the food was pretty good and cooked properly. they had a variety of good salads as well. the only thing i was disappointed by was the dessert. the knafe was the onlygreatdessert they had, thats all. the ambience and the setting were nice as well.

i personally wouldnt go again unless i was invited, especially since i am big on dessert.

we were invited by our very close friend and colleague . at first we thought we won’t really enjoy our iftar but to our surprise everything tasted amazing .. we had one of the best iftar party in here ❤️

on entering, we were warmly greeted by the staff who held our welcome drinks which refreshed us in no time. as we settled on our table, there came a jolly man dressed in a traditional dress holding a huge pot of tamarind juice. he wouldn't leave until each one of us tried the drink and trust me, i would have regretted not drinking it.

i couldn't help but notice how fantastic the copper interiors were. being a lover of everything copper, it was a treat to my eyes. the ambience felt just right with vibrant vibes and the lighting too was perfect. they have a bar at one end with amazing display of drinks and glasses. 

the buffet was a wide spread consisting selection of salads, cheese, breads, grills, main course and desserts. since i did not notice the salad and cheese spread at first, (who notices the salads anyway? not me) i began with some mixed grills and falafels. the grills were very good. loved the crisp falafels. i found some to be cold and soft though. moving on the mains; i absolutely loved eating the hashweh (rice with mince and nuts) and maqlooba. also, there were raw kibbeh which i dared to try and the rest is history.

for the desserts, what grabbed my attention was the super cheesy kunafa on the massive vessel. i asked the server to give me a little but he served me a big fat chunk of it (not that i'm complaining) i instantly fell in love as i took the first bite because it had the right amount of sweetness. there were other popular middle eastern desserts too but since they are too sweet for my liking, i skipped those. noticed the flowing fountain (half chocolate and half strawberry) but sadly there were no sticks for dipping the fruits and madeleines. the pretty cupcakes then caught my eye. however, these weren't as good as they looked.

overall, i had a good time but i wouldn't return any sooner.

what agreatplace!! we went there for iftar during last ramadan, and the experience was truly amazing.
the choice of food and variety of dishes will surprise you, and nonetheless, the food is really tasty!
decor and ambiance are on another level as well.
the staff is very responsive and attentive.

dining here was such a delight!
my family and i originally walked in to have a brunch buffet, but even on realizing it was à la cart, we decided to have an early lunch - and it was agreatdecision on our part.
the restaurant itself is large, and the ambience is calming. the staff is extremely friendly, they recommended dishes to us (this cuisine is definitely unique) and everything was delicious.
absolutely loved everything, and for such fine dining, the prices were extremely reasonable as well.
do check this restaurant out when you’re in the area!

first of all many thanks togreatfriendly staff. on the other hand food quality is very low. tried musakhan and mixed grill but totally disappointment. tried much better ones in much cheaper restaurants. sorry but just 1 star.

hello . please give our thanks to the manager(s) hani and others team for the wonderful dining experience and the nice cake for our anniversary. we had an amazing time. the room was so comfortable, the food at olea absolutely spectacular (we ate two meals there breakfast and dinner ). our waiter mohamed was just wonderful. looking forward to staying with you in the future. what agreatplace!

olea restaurant, visited with my friend, they have agreatinterior design and plus an amazing view of burj arab . the food was really tasteful, and we don't forget the luxury service 

nice rooftop with live music, shisha andgreatarabic / lebanese food conveniently located at kempinski emirates mall. lovely service and amazing food you can enjoy with a nice glass of wine, will be back after the summer!

superb breakfast
such an awesome experience for a first timer. the place is lovely and large with a very good breakfast buffet life station and valid. hostess team welcomed me with a smile and greetings. excellent shakshouka and tea eggs one of the delicious meal i have . and of course, i won't forget the amazing service from ms mereim and mr hany. they are definitely a star! agreatteam made my morning fun! best regards.

we went to olea with a group of 10-12 friends for dinner. the reason of choosing olea was again a recommendation from another friend and olea did not disappoint us. the restaurant is located inside kempinski mall of the emirates and has a very cool and spacious design. they also have outdoor seating. they serve middle eastern food mainly lebanese, turkish cuisines. we ordered many different mezes hot and cold and all of them weregreatin taste. service could have been quicker but still it was ok. overall a good option for middle eastern food in a nice ambiance.

there is agreatselections of food and you can eat outside. quality of food is varied.
it is very busy with queues as you’d imagine and the staff are helpful and pleasant.
thank you very much, mr. hany, for your fantastic services in the morning. it was a wonderful start into the day to be welcomed personally by team members already knowing my preferences for breakfast (e.g. bringing me to a preferred table, serving and topping up indian tea for breakfast and placing a newspaper on my table). you took care that i had an enjoyable breakfast feeling like staying home.

i would like to give my particular thanks to lydia and meriam. you both are really a role model for restaurant personnel with extraordinary guest orientation, attention to detail, high service quality and concern for the individual guests. many thanks also to isroil. one could really feel that each one of you loves what you are doing. the delicious food accompanied by your services was a truly perfect highlight at the close of the day.

we have treated very professional we trust this place for breakfast its a large and huge restaurant but well staffed. there is agreatselection of food and you can eat outside. quality of food is super so much varied it was an absolutely wonderful experience to enjoy such delicious food and exceptional service the guys are very busy as you ‘d imagine but hany the restaurant manager made us feel like vips dining here offering our lovely indian tea at the morning. every thing isgreati am in love with this place:)
