love this place. great service,foodis simple but tasty. got my steak temp right, which is rare (ha pun intended) in this town. maybe my favorite steak place.

love local places.

expected so much more out of this place. 

they basically serve diner food. big disappointment. 

on the bright side, their prices reflect the poorfoodquality.

i do not recommend.

this place is great! great atmosphere,foodand service. steaks cooked to perfection, fantastic fresh bread and i can't say enough about the service, wonderful!!!

fav steakhouse but. i don't know what happened on january 12th but about 8 p.m. with less than 20 people in the restaurantfoodwas way below standards. medium rare steak was somewhere between medium and medium well. both of our potatoes were cold and i mean butter didn't begin to melt cold. on the plus side fish was cooked well. hope next time is better all around.

longhorn steak & ale here is a local place, not to be confused with longhorn steakhouse, which is a national chain. just fyi.

my partner and i arrived on a friday night and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. yes, this restaurant is very popular and totally worth the short wait. plan your dining time accordingly.

this place has a great atmosphere with a friendly waitstaff. it did take a little longer for our meals to be served, but when the result was presented on our table, we understood why. qualityfoodrequires a little longer to prepare.

for an appetizer, we tried the grilled cheddar stuffed mushrooms. the mushroom caps with herbs and four cheeses were very good.

my partner ordered the outlaw ribeye. it was huge. he said it was grilled perfectly. he also had the loaded baked potato and a mixed green salad. he was pleased with everything.

i decided upon the grilled trout with shrimp and lobster along with seasonal veggies and caesar salad. it was excellent.

thefoodwas amazing!! the best meal i have ever had. i recommend getting there 15-30 min before you actually want to eat. but it's worth the wait!!

the asparagus and green beans were not fresh and looked like they had been sitting around all day. the salad looked like it was taken directly from a bag and lacked crispness. the staff was attentive and efficient and the wait forfoodwas not bad. i would not recommend this restaurant.

not impressed with the steaks. after hearing all the raves about the steaks here, i had to check it out. chicken rolls for appetizers were excellent. the corn and apple side dishes were very good. the steaks, not so much. the flavor/seasoning was excellent. however they were cooked horribly. i haven't had a steak that bad in a long time. i ordered mine medium rare as did my boyfriend. both ours were still tough and chewy, overcooked on the outside, and not tender on the inside at all. that's the first time i can remember not finishing a steak because it just wasn't worth it. the rest of thefoodwe got was good and i might go back for some of their chicken dishes, they looked really good. but definitely won't be ordering another steak from there, very undeserving of the "best steaks in corpus" awards.

my boyfriend an i went on a double date with some friends there....thefoodwas great, the prices were very reasonable...and our server patrick was hilarious...we had a good time, and enjoyed it very much

improvement. i am happy with the improvements in service and as usual thefoodis great!!!!! good job

if you cant mark out your menu when fried oysters and shrimp are off the menu then i can only imagine what else you are too lazy to do,employees spend too much time talking around the bar instead of waiting on customers

so much food! we were satisfied before the entree came. this place is affordable, and thefoodis great with huge portions.
