continues to have the best burgers, appetizers and fries in southwest tennessee! staff is great and prices are very reasonable.

best burgers in shelby county. my family loves "off the hoof". we try to get there at least once every other week. the food is wonderful, servers are really friendly, and the atmosphere is family friendly! friday night is very busy, saturday night not quite as bad. but most other times you get right in and are served very quickly. thumbs up to the entire staff!

best burgers in the memphis area!!!. off thehoofis our very favorite place to eat burgers...... so much better than any of the chains. and the frickles, battered fries, and chicken tenders are family favorites! husband prefers the bison burger, with the elk and ostrich running right behind.

best burger in area!. we've become weekly customers at off the hoof. the burgers are absolutely awesome - doesn't matter if they are beef, bison, elk or ? every one we've tried has met the mark. frickles are superb and the onion straws (and the dipping sauce) are some of the best. we're working our way through the menu, but everthing so far has been delicious. i recommend it to all. only time we've waited for any time is on a thursday or friday night - very busy, but the wait staff very attentive. keep up the good work!!

my family has been always wanting to try off thehoofand it was delicious. the service was extremely nice, it wasn't too loud inside, there was no wait for a family of 5. food was wonderful, the fries are enough to share. get the cheese fries!!

off thehoofis one of our favorite restaurants! great service and you can't go wrong with any of the food. i highly recommend a visit to off the hoof!

first the positive: i love their burgers and the frickles (fried dill pickles). i have had the fries and the sweet potato waffles, fries are really good, but i feel the sweet potato waffle cuts are just okay. they lacked the flavor you expect with cinnamon sweet potato fries. the burgers were made with fresh beef and out of a good cut of meat. i haven't ventured with any other of the choices, but will add to this review as i do.

now the negative: i have been to off thehoofsix times and three of those times we have gotten poor service of some sort... inattentive waitress, slow food, wrong order, once the fries came after i had eaten my burger, and took forever to get the check. the decor is nothing special and seems a bit uncomfortable to me.

so, good food, spotty service. if you like a good burger and the other doesn't matter, then this is your place. if you are starving and easily irritated, then best not risk it.

great atmosphere and food is always good.. my family and i eat here regularly, at least once a week. the food is completely awesome and the service is friendly. it has an atmosphere where you feel like you are welcome and not just a customer.

love this place!!!!. my family and i probably eat here at least once a week. it isn't very expensive and has many options if you don't feel like having a burger.
their spicy onion straws, frickles, and loaded fries are some of our favorite sides.
the staff is always friendly, even when they are really busy and we have to wait longer.

one of my favorite places to eat. locally owned and very friendly atmosphere. they not only have great burgers, but also salmon, bison, ostrich, and elk, if you are so inclined.
the loaded cheese fries, fried pickles, sweet potato fries are incredible too.
remember to bring your off thehoofcup back each visit for a discount on your drink!

not sure all the new reviews are fake. because i am in the off thehoof"club", i received an email from them asking to review off the hoof/off the hook on a couple of sites (urbanspoon, yelp, etc.). if i did so and notified them, i would receive 50 extra points. could be why there are a bunch of newbie reviews...maybe they're just trying to improve on any problems/issues.

casual place for good food. like that you can choose the size of your burger and customize it...also love that they have swaffles. good food at reasonable prices. don't forget to bring back your big blue cup for the drink discount.

worth the drive great food!. my name is taylor and i have visited off thehooftwice. it is about a 45 min to an hour drive from my house but it is definitely worth it. on each visit i have had a different menu item. my first visit i had the buffalo burger which tasted amazing in flavor and juicy, with a order of those delicious cheese fries. on my second visit, i tried the elk burger which had a unique flavor as well. i would definitely recommend it to anyone riding through or near arlington, tn. keep up the good work guys.

off thehoofis off the chain!. my husband and i eat at off thehoofon a weekly basis. all of the staff are very friendly, but we do have a favorite waitress that we commandeer each week! we love the family atmosphere and the tasty menu. great food, great prices and fabulous people!

their service is superb- friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is always very ckean but now to the burgers. off thehoofburgers are by far the best burgers in the midsouth!!! off thehoofis the gus's chicken of burges and soon too be just as known.

best burgers anywhere. we drive quite a distance to eat at off thehoofburgers because their burgers are great. also, i don't know what kind of oil they use to cook the fries, but they are the delicious. off thehoofhas the best burgers and fries of any restaurant!

best burgers!. off thehoofis within walking distance of my house, and we eat there on the average of once every couple of weeks. the entire staff is always smiling, and the food is beyond compare. everyone always told me how good a national chain similar to oth was, and i tried them, and oth is by far the best!! try the country fried burger!
