surprisingly great. i have to say that i'm not a huge fan of the emeril franchise... weird combinations like ketchup on steak doesn't make for either interesting "tailgating" food, nor does it make for cutting edge gourmet... but on our last visit to nola, i was blown away. every person i brought felt that they had one of the best meals in memory...bbq shrimp, shrimp and grits, buttermil fried chicken.. outstanding.
and, the service was friendly, omnipresent, and yet appropriately removed from our conversations.
here's to terrence massey (nice name!) and your nomination as the best waiter i can remember having in the french quarter.
