nine18 - turnberry golf club

this place is fabulous!. i don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from... the food is fabulous (try the crab cakes! to die for), the staff are amazing (look for sean)... and the wine list is divine. this restaurant, is reasonably priced, and yes.. you do get what you pay for... and that is a great meal.. fabulous view of the golf course, a perfectly situated fireplace and staff that are so accommodating. this is arestaurantthat caters to all individuals; from toddlers to grown adults.
if you have the opportunity... sit on the patio during a gorgeous summer night and take in the picturesque view while sipping on a vice martini (only available here). trust me.. therestaurantwill be your 'go to' on any night of the week with or without the kids.

my family went for mothers day buffet at at the 9 18 restaurant. the young lady that was seating us mentioned that the buffet was 45 dollars per person, and insinuate that i was not able to afford it buy the way she said it and, the expression on her face.

it was not because of how i was dressed. i was wearing a dark colored suite with a tie. of all the patrons in therestauranti notice one other person that was black

a lady not dressed like the other wait staff brought over a high chair for our baby. she immediately said that we had to be out of therestaurantby 1:00. she said you have an hour and we have another seating at 1:30 so you would need to wrap up buy that time. i informed her that the other staff stated that they would be able to accommodate us. she immediately said there was a seating at 1:30 and that our seat was reserved.

i had a feeling as if i was in the southern us where there racism is blatant. i was still very polite to her. i said thank you very much. we went to the buffet and ate. no one came over to ask us if we needed anything. they did not give us any water, we had the feeling throughout that we were not welcome in the store.

they made our first mothers day a very negative experience. i would not recommend thisrestaurantto anyone who is black or non white.

if you are white i think you will enjoy it very much. black (non-white)people eat at your own risk.

nine18 is our 'go-to' place in brampton when the sun is shining and patio-dining is a must or to satisfy some late-night cravings for a light meal, desserts and drinks.  the ambience of therestaurantis great - comfortable, classy and welcoming.  nachos are a typical order and they are done well with lots of toppings.  the garlic bread comes with cheese - no need to add on the extra 3 bucks like some other places.  i have no complaints about the burgers and other sandwiches i've tried.  i'll have to admit though that i haven't had any of the more expensive entrees.  for the people i go with, dessert is always the chocolate overload - it's great.  for the prices and therestaurantatmosphere, nine18 is hard to beat.  we consistently get good service too, so overall, you can't go wrong - a great spot to eat.

dre @turnberrygolfca: we celebrated my parents' 40th wedding anniversary by taking them to nine18, therestaurantat turnberry golf club. we enjoy the atmosphere there and the food is good as well!. we started off with some nachos to share. i liked that these nachos had a lot of toppings. this was a great start to our meal.

my mom really wanted to try this place out. it is therestaurantof the turnberry golf course, and the views of the golf course is very pretty. it almost makes you think you're not in brampton anymore... until you look a little further and see all the subdivisions in the distance. the golf course was built on a former landfill, so that is why there are so many "rolling hills" on the golf course. but if you didn't know that, it is quite a pretty course. the bread was super fresh and warm. it was delicious! nachos - tortilla chips piled with mixed cheese, jalapenos, olives, tomatoes, green onions, salsa and sour cream. these were really good and cheesy. mike got a 9 oz new york striploin. he really enjoyed it and said it was one of the better steaks he's had. my mom got a seafood pasta with mussels, shrimp and scallops. i got the cornish hen. i always try to get cornish hen whenever i see if on a menu, but this one was disappointing as it was way too salty for m

straight up glass creme brulee. decided to give this place another shot after my review of being blacklisted. i ordered creme brulee for the first time and literally had to crack the sugar coating with a spoon to get to the bottom. it was like glass!!!

they still suck.

been here once, probably will never go back. the first time i went to thisrestaurantin the summer time it was really nice and we were placed next to the window so seeing the golf course was a nice sight..
we had a very large party - about 15 - 20 people - and the server would get angry if anyone got up to talk to someone or switch seats.

the second time i decided to go was the last time.. i had made reservations however could not make it and i assumed that they would just give up my reservation, however the manager took it very offensively and felt the need to put me in my place. he basically harassed me and called my cell phone about 6 times - including once from private number - and basically told me my number was blacklisted from therestaurantand was extremely rude about it

thisrestaurantis pretty much blacklisted for me now

president. was with a party of 20 people, good atmosphere,good service,however, the food,had the garlic and honey well seems as if the chef boiled some wings and added regular store bought dip and merely poured it over the wings. blah.
service: i play golf at this facility and have no complaints with regards to the staff, always courteous . as forrestaurantprices..you need to work on that
to compete with those around you.

dinner. we have dined, golfed held tournaments since the begining of the turnberry golf club and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, good food and great service ! until this past saturday. it had been a few month since we have dined there and decided that evening to enjoy the outdoor patio. firstly the service was great !! therestaurantwas "empty", and no surprise since there has been an outrageous price increase, $15.50 for an 8 oz glass of wine ??? seriously ??? my husband and i enjoy dining out once a week and never have i paid that much for wine, not to mention the price of the food, which i consider to be "good" however certainly not a 10 !!! shame on the management for price gouging !!! needless to say our family and friends will now be dining elsewhere !! maybe management should consider better marketing stratagies, since you are only attracting 20 % of the brampton population, maybe !!

i took my husband there for dinner to celebrate his birthday. the hostess was rude and unwelcoming when we entered the restaurant. instead of bringing cake, i brought a pastry with candles in a bag. i specifically asked the same hostess if she could present this after dinner. she gave it to the bartender without any instruction. within minutes, the bartender came up to me and said that "we don't serve outside food here". he continued on in a rude manner to say "whatrestaurantwould do that?" i then stated it was for a bday. he then changed his tone and embarrassingly said "oh, its for a birthday". clearly the hostess did not explain this to him. it was a tuesday evening and not busy and they should have taken care of this easily. we immediately left therestaurantand obviously this situation didn't bother either employee. the bartender didn't even approach the hostess and talk to her about the situation. i have lived in brampton most of my life and never felt such rudeness and prejudice from anyone. i would not recommend this restaurant.

must try at lease once. i'm a frequent visitor of nine 18restaurantand for those who have not been should definitely give it a chance because you will fall in love with it. i was sold from the first time i enter the facility and could not believe that there is such a nice place in brampton. my boyfriend and i love nine 18restaurantfor the view, atmosphere and fantastic service from the waiters and waitresses. the patio outside have heaters which can be turned on at night when it's too breezy making the patio accessible even through the fall season. there is a two-way fireplace and gorgeous view of the golf course. food is always delightful with nice plating. the only negative is that the menu is small and food options are limited but where else in brampton do you find a greatrestaurantthat has 9/10 things that are important on a day out. i love nine 18restaurantand i recommend it for everyone. don't knock it if you haven't try it. go! :)

nine18 always a great evening!!!. we have become regulars at nine18. we have found that everything about thisrestaurantleaves us incredibly satisfied. i have to say that the staff is very attentive, warm, and welcoming. friends from our old neighbourhood have met us there many times, and now we dine together there almost weekly. whether ordering a sandwich or complete entre, the food is always great!
