nine18 - turnberry golf club

great spot with a great view!. i've been to nine18 several times now and it never seems to disappoint. golf lover or not, the view is spectacular. it's a spot you wouldn't expect to find in brampton. the staff has always been really friendly and the food is fabulous! my recommendations (and must-haves every time i go) are the dry ribs to start (which says a lot cause i'm not a big wing and rib eater), then the 15oz sirloin for the main course (it is probably the most tender cut of meat i've ever had...and this is coming from a big keg steakhouse fan), and then, even when i think i can't have another bite, i force myself to have the creme brulee (it's to die for)! every person and every pallet is different, but it's certainly a place you should try and check out. and maybe i'll see you there! :)

the golf course is a challenging and fun course and would recommend it to everyone. on the other hand....the restaurant....great atmophere but the service was really slow. i know when it was the grand opening the management and wait staff was great. the food is alright and nobody seems to care that you're there. management was always in the kitchen talking with the waitress. missing the old management.

this place is fabulous!. i don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from... the food is fabulous (try the crab cakes! to die for), the staff are amazing (look for sean)... and the wine list is divine. this restaurant, is reasonably priced, and yes.. you do get what you pay for... and that is a great meal.. fabulous view of the golf course, a perfectly situated fireplace and staff that are so accommodating. this is a restaurant that caters to all individuals; from toddlers to grown adults.
if you have the opportunity... sit on the patio during a gorgeous summer night and take in the picturesque view while sipping on a vice martini (only available here). trust me.. the restaurant will be your 'go to' on any night of the week with or without the kids.

my family went for mothers day buffet at at the 9 18 restaurant. the young lady that was seating us mentioned that the buffet was 45 dollars per person, and insinuate that i was not able to afford it buy the way she said it and, the expression on her face.

it was not because of how i was dressed. i was wearing a dark colored suite with a tie. of all the patrons in the restaurant i notice one other person that was black

a lady not dressed like the other wait staff brought over a high chair for our baby. she immediately said that we had to be out of the restaurant by 1:00. she said you have an hour and we have another seating at 1:30 so you would need to wrap up buy that time. i informed her that the other staff stated that they would be able to accommodate us. she immediately said there was a seating at 1:30 and that our seat was reserved.

i had a feeling as if i was in the southern us where there racism is blatant. i was still very polite to her. i said thank you very much. we went to the buffet and ate. no one came over to ask us if we needed anything. they did not give us any water, we had the feeling throughout that we were not welcome in the store.

they made our first mothers day a very negative experience. i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is black or non white.

if you are white i think you will enjoy it very much. black (non-white)people eat at your own risk.

we had our end of year party at nine 18 this evening. (june 27) i must say i was very unsatisfied with the value of the meal. the cost per person was $40. we received hamburger sliders and poutine. deserts consisted of cookies and squares. apparently soft drinks were included in this price, however none of our party of 43 were made aware of this. we had to pour our own water and clear our own plates. if we wanted an alcoholic beverage we had to go to the bar to get it as we apparently were not afforded the luxury of a wait staff. i would not recommend this establishment for any type of function.

nine18 is our 'go-to' place in brampton when the sun is shining and patio-dining is a must or to satisfy some late-night cravings for a light meal, desserts and drinks.  the ambience of the restaurant is great - comfortable, classy and welcoming.  nachos are a typical order and they are done well with lots of toppings.  the garlic bread comes with cheese - no need to add on the extra 3 bucks like some other places.  i have no complaints about the burgers and other sandwiches i've tried.  i'll have to admit though that i haven't had any of the more expensive entrees.  for the people i go with, dessert is always the chocolate overload - it's great.  for the prices and the restaurant atmosphere, nine18 is hard to beat.  we consistently get good service too, so overall, you can't go wrong - a great spot to eat.

dre @turnberrygolfca: we celebrated my parents' 40th wedding anniversary by taking them to nine18, the restaurant at turnberry golf club. we enjoy the atmosphere there and the food is good as well!. we started off with some nachos to share. i liked that these nachos had a lot of toppings. this was a great start to our meal.

went to a large xmas party here. the food was excellent and great portion sizes! staff didnt bother to walk around room much with appetizers kept going to same people.

hidden gem!. went to nine18 last week, what a treat! i have never been before, heard mixed reviews but the food and service was excellent. i had the cornish hen, huge portions and beautiful plating. and don't be fooled by the $$$$ that it's rated, a burger is $15, a steak is $28, pretty reasonable for fresh food. will definitely be back!

still hate this wannabe golf club. staff is rude and act like a bunch of ralph lauren preppy type who think they're in beverly hills when they're more like the beverly hill billys.

my boyfriend and i decided to go here last sunday for apps and drinks (since they advertise 1/2 price apps) upon arrival staff wasn't exactly the friendliest. we decided on the spinach dip and oysters (or clams not sure which one) regardless when adam (our server) came out to take our order we were told they didn't have those two apps as they "ran out" we were very disappointed so we decided on the bruschetta and to order entrees instead it was 7:30 when we ordered and our food didn't come out till 8:30 by then the sun had set and i ordered my steak medium-well and it came out rare!!! by this point i was so hungry i just ate what was given. we definitely were not impressed my the food and service was par (no pun intended) we originally came for apps. and drinks instead, paid a hefty bill at the end of the night and was not satisfied with the food. wouldn't come back for dinner.

my mom really wanted to try this place out. it is the restaurant of the turnberry golf course, and the views of the golf course is very pretty. it almost makes you think you're not in brampton anymore... until you look a little further and see all the subdivisions in the distance. the golf course was built on a former landfill, so that is why there are so many "rolling hills" on the golf course. but if you didn't know that, it is quite a pretty course. the bread was super fresh and warm. it was delicious! nachos - tortilla chips piled with mixed cheese, jalapenos, olives, tomatoes, green onions, salsa and sour cream. these were really good and cheesy. mike got a 9 oz new york striploin. he really enjoyed it and said it was one of the better steaks he's had. my mom got a seafood pasta with mussels, shrimp and scallops. i got the cornish hen. i always try to get cornish hen whenever i see if on a menu, but this one was disappointing as it was way too salty for m

straight up glass creme brulee. decided to give this place another shot after my review of being blacklisted. i ordered creme brulee for the first time and literally had to crack the sugar coating with a spoon to get to the bottom. it was like glass!!!

they still suck.

been here once, probably will never go back. the first time i went to this restaurant in the summer time it was really nice and we were placed next to the window so seeing the golf course was a nice sight..
we had a very large party - about 15 - 20 people - and the server would get angry if anyone got up to talk to someone or switch seats.

the second time i decided to go was the last time.. i had made reservations however could not make it and i assumed that they would just give up my reservation, however the manager took it very offensively and felt the need to put me in my place. he basically harassed me and called my cell phone about 6 times - including once from private number - and basically told me my number was blacklisted from the restaurant and was extremely rude about it

this restaurant is pretty much blacklisted for me now

president. was with a party of 20 people, good atmosphere,good service,however, the food,had the garlic and honey well seems as if the chef boiled some wings and added regular store bought dip and merely poured it over the wings. blah.
service: i play golf at this facility and have no complaints with regards to the staff, always courteous . as for restaurant prices..you need to work on that

staff are rude, food is blah, you would expect more. my cousin decided to hold her engagement party at nine18 - we had about 15-20 people there - and they arranged us in a long-table. for a party this large, the gratuity is already included - but had it not been included - i wouldn't have left a tip. most of the staff there are *completely* rude! its astonishing! and if you ask for something as simple as a glass of water or a refill of your drink - they end up taking ages! and that fact that we were a table of almost 20 - we would have definitely expected better service!

the worst part of this place - is the price you pay for food! you would expect that for the price, you would be getting an amazing meal. not so at all! the food is totally mediocre (think dried out chicken), you would get better food at a jack astors or even mcdonalds.

the decor is probably the only thing going for this place. for the price point, the lack of quality food, and the very rude wait staff - i would probably not go again.
