nine18 - turnberry golf club

dinner. we have dined, golfed held tournaments since the begining of the turnberry golf club and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, good food and great service ! until this past saturday. it had been a few month since we have dined there and decided that evening to enjoy the outdoor patio. firstly the service was great !! the restaurant was "empty", and no surprise since there has been an outrageous price increase, $15.50 for an 8 oz glass of wine ??? seriously ??? my husband and i enjoy dining out once a week and never have i paid that much for wine, not to mention the price of the food, which i consider to be "good" however certainly not a 10 !!! shame on the management for price gouging !!! needless to say our family and friends will now be dining elsewhere !! maybe management should consider better marketing stratagies, since you are only attracting 20 % of the brampton population, maybe !!

i took my husband there for dinner to celebrate his birthday. the hostess was rude and unwelcoming when we entered the restaurant. instead of bringing cake, i brought a pastry with candles in a bag. i specifically asked the same hostess if she could present this after dinner. she gave it to the bartender without any instruction. within minutes, the bartender came up to me and said that "we don't serve outside food here". he continued on in a rude manner to say "what restaurant would do that?" i then stated it was for a bday. he then changed his tone and embarrassingly said "oh, its for a birthday". clearly the hostess did not explain this to him. it was a tuesday evening and not busy and they should have taken care of this easily. we immediately left the restaurant and obviously this situation didn't bother either employee. the bartender didn't even approach the hostess and talk to her about the situation. i have lived in brampton most of my life and never felt such rudeness and prejudice from anyone. i would not recommend this restaurant.

my wedding. this place is a diamond in the ruff. i was married at this place a almost a year from now and people keep calling me about the food! it was sensational and we ate, danced and drank until morning. the staff led by steve mediros was courtious, professional and warm. every guest was accommodated and well fed. my wife and i still continue to go there on a regular basis.

i hope everyone comes here this is a great evening brunch or lunch with open concept facing beautiful green course in a country style place.

must try at lease once. i'm a frequent visitor of nine 18 restaurant and for those who have not been should definitely give it a chance because you will fall in love with it. i was sold from the first time i enter the facility and could not believe that there is such a nice place in brampton. my boyfriend and i love nine 18 restaurant for the view, atmosphere and fantastic service from the waiters and waitresses. the patio outside have heaters which can be turned on at night when it's too breezy making the patio accessible even through the fall season. there is a two-way fireplace and gorgeous view of the golf course. food is always delightful with nice plating. the only negative is that the menu is small and food options are limited but where else in brampton do you find a great restaurant that has 9/10 things that are important on a day out. i love nine 18 restaurant and i recommend it for everyone. don't knock it if you haven't try it. go! :)

nine18 always a great evening!!!. we have become regulars at nine18. we have found that everything about this restaurant leaves us incredibly satisfied. i have to say that the staff is very attentive, warm, and welcoming. friends from our old neighbourhood have met us there many times, and now we dine together there almost weekly. whether ordering a sandwich or complete entre, the food is always great!

nice atmosphere. service good. food is ok however, the presentation was excellent. i say 4 out of 5 stars. would definitely do dinner or lunch again.

i enjoyed a great lunch here last week with family last week. great food and the service was excellent. lunch was had outside so there were excellent views as well. up down!

i have been there twice and love the atmoshere, the food and the exotic cocktails!! i can't believe we finally have something like this in brampton! one note the menu on urbanspoon is not the most recent, go to the website for am up to date menu.

christmas lunch. we had a wonderful experience for lunch, the service was fast and the servers were extremely friendly. the food was perfectly warm and tasty ,not to mention the presentation a delightful treat for the eyes and the tummy.

not impressed. my husband and i have been to a few restaurants that are located on golf courses and have always been very impressed with the service and wonderful food. we were excited to try nine 18 as it is located very close to our home. i have to say, the only part of the dining experience that was great was the service from the waitress. she was attentive, knowledgable and very polite. the view was also nice. now onto the food...horrible. we ordered the crab/artichoke dip and ceasar salad for appetizers. the dip had very little artichoke and it was not worth it to pay $4 extra for the crab. the pita for the dip was grilled and tasted like all the meat that had been grilled previously. the ceasar salad was not edible... there was an overpowering taste of anchovy. we had steaks for dinner with cremini mushrooms (mushrooms were extra)...everything was blackened and charred. not a pleasant dining experience by far and not worth the money. we would definately go to the keg instead of nine 18...there is more selection and the food is so much better and worth the money. however, i have to say the manager came around to ask if everything was ok and she took the cost of the ceasar salad off the bill.

wow. me and my family went there for the first time friday, and i must say that from the time we walked in, we felt as if we were regulars! the hostess and manager were extremely happy to see us. our server was fantastic, looking after all of our needs. the food was great, i had the calamari and the tuscan chicken and both were fantastic. i did not think that a place like this would be in brampton. i plan on becoming a regular and having my husbands 40th birthday party there.

wonderful experience. i was very disappointed to see "johnny's negative review as it related to "preferencial treatment to white people". my husband and i were there for dinner on friday june 18th, and found that the diversity in the dining room was what we would expect to see living in brampton. families of different backgrounds, nationalities, skin colour (which is not my typical observation) seemed to all be enjoying their meal, the ambiance, speaking/laughing with the servers. a lovely jamaican couple started conversation with us as they almost received our meal in error. the servers were young, and yes, there was one lady server who was definitely under-dressed for the being in the dining room (white pants and a pink tshirt). it was her, that our attention was drawn to as she was dressed more for a ma/pa diner that a fashsionable, high-end restaurant. the food was delish, the service was average, but we would definitely go back, and are going back with friends that we told... this week! some times people are a little too sensitive ... about their background .. and what a shame. i would suggest, johnny, you go back ... with an open mind, and an empty tummy!
