always enjoyable, great outside seating. my wife and i have been to both nicky's locations nearly a dozen times and have never been disappointed by food or service. outside seating at north side location a great setting (weather permitting). byob always a benefit:)

i told them to not put fish sause but they still do. we will never go back again. the server was too slow. plese hurrry!

a small but famous restaurant in pittsburgh . the food is good . good service . tried satay chicken and basil fried rice . both were good enough . can visit again .

nice staff and atmosphere and lovely food. i found this place the other day while doing pedal pittsburgh and was pleased that there was a thai place that i've never tired. we started without the surprise combo (shrimp toast, crab rangoon, chicken satay and dumplings) then i had the crispy basil duck while my husband had the chicken pineapple curry. it didn't disapppoint. and to round everything off, we had to try the sticky rice with mango. we'll be bak.

this place is rocking. i am new to the pittsburgh area and i had to take the time to write about this place,#1 its not far from where i work.the food has great flavor,and a good price.if you have never been here,take the time to try it out,if you like thai food,you won't be dissapointed.

good food.. always good. i've really enjoyed everything i've had here- light and flavorful. i really had to laugh my butt off at the reviewer who expected nicky's to not charge him for the foods he and his family didn't care for. i don't know what pampered planet you're from, buddy, but you are just hilarious.

where bullets fly? really! get a life. that area is as safe as any other area in pittsburgh. western avenue has been completely redone with new sidewalks, street lights, building facades. the food at nicky's is great! it's all freshly made so it's not always consistent. sometimes things may be a little more sweet, other times more spicy. the patio is beautiful once the weather permits it being open. i'll attach a picture of the horrible crime infested street that does not exist.

nicky’s is a strong offering in the thai space but nothing groundbreaking. the food you get at nicky’s, you can get at dozens of other thai places throughout the city.

this is seriously the greatest place on earth, i'm currently on the patio...everything i've had here (chicken pad thai, beef pad thai, crab ranguns, wonton soup, poor mans beef, chicken pineapple fried rice, spicy peanut combo) is not just good, it's insane! highly recommended!!!

really good, not the greatest service. waited an hour for two for dinner saturday night at 8pm, weren't seated until 9:20pm. it was still very busy, the food was amazing. the staff were all nice, we didn't have one server. ordered cashew chicken, pineapple fried rice and mango salmon curry. we thought the fried rice was the best, but everything was great. the fresh spring rolls are the best i've ever had. the outdoor patio was worth the wait!
i'd definitely go back, but would make a reservation and get there early!

best thai in pittsburgh by far. cute restored house. byob location. make sure to sit out back on the patio in the summer with the waterfall and plants all around.

it's by far one of the most enjoyable places to eat in pittsburgh. the pad see ew is the best i've ever had. i always order the thai toasts as well. the peanut, cucumber sauce pairing is refreshing.

hands down the best thai place in the city. food is good af. the curries are all equally great. they don't joke with their spicy here. a 7 or 8 here is really really really spicy.
