perfect foods and service. i went to nicky's so many times, what make me impressed are the traditional decoration, flowers and the foods definitely perfect ! also a good services and clean environment. i never forget to visit nicky's every time i have to meeting with some one for having a good foods!

food orgasm!. i love their thai iced tea! nobody makes it as good as nicky's. their food is so good, they have a good vegetarian selection as well. definitely worth a visit!

pretty impressive. i had the beef pad phet which was satisfying, but not amazing. i had expected loi krathong, but sadly was given oglebay winter festival of lights. i was left with the unfortunate feeling of food envy for my companions' meals. both of my friends ordered the pad thai, but they brought one the pad see ew by mistake. this incorrect order turned into a delightful treasure chest filled with shrimp, scallops, mussels, and other treats from the sea and was definitely the highlight of the meal. next time i go back, i will be getting one of the noodle dishes.

nicky's thai. i took my sweetheart here for her birthday. wow what a great experience. not only the best thai food i ever had but the setting and atmosphere where fabulous. service was excellent as well. all thumbs up :-)

awesome experience. we have been planning a thai night out for awhile and i was excited when i went a different way to work and saw nicky's thai kitchen.

we arrived there today at 4:40 to find out that unfortunately they were closed. we were all out all day and hungry. as we argued about coming back or just eating at home, a woman appeared at the door, opened it and said come on in. we'll open. i'm impressed already. that's really saying something, i know where i work, we open on the dot.

as we first walked in, i have to admit i was slightly disappointed but once we were in the dining room, i was stunned. amazing decor. really cozy. felt like we were in a very high scale restaurant. i felt under-dressed. the prices were just as amazing. 10-15 for just about everything. some things more, some things less. we all three had water, an appetizer and an entree, and shared and it was less than $20 a person.

the food was delicious. the portions were huge. if you go, take friends, share. it's better that way. we each have a small container(think the medium size of potato salad at giant eagle) of each of our entrees left. if you're a light eater, you could get by with less than one entree per person easily.

definitely will be going again. the only slight downfall is that the dining room is smaller so once people did start to arrive, it did get louder, but there was ambient music playing to help that. it was about half full when we left and was still not a real problem, but i'm sure if it was packed, it would have been slightly irritating. go early.

yay!. fabulous thai food on the northside! nicky's is beautifully decorated and the food is superb. only word of caution-don't order anything spicy as they tend to already be a bit on the spicy side.

yeah for nicky's. can't say enough good stuff. the food is excellent, varied and well-priced. we've been lacking a carry out asian restaurant on our side of town and nicky's fits the bill. the garden seating is especially wonderful. you won't be disappointed. ask for david or kate!

best thai this side of bangkok!. i love thai food and have lived all around the country, (including new york, where you can find some of the best food in the world) and i have to say that this is probably the best thai food i've ever had, no kidding. everything is fresh, fresh, fresh, and wonderfully prepared. the atmosphere and decor are beautiful and elegant (especially the gorgeous outdoor patio garden), while still feeling comfortably down-to-earth. and casual. service is quick, efficient, and friendly. the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. it's byob, but unlike most places, they don't charge a corkage/bottle fee - and this makes for an especially well-priced meal. i can't say enough great things about this place - do yourself a favor and go!

tasty treat and great garden!. while visiting pitt last week, we stopped in for dinner. we knew the dining room was lovely, but decided to try out the patio. when we walked out, we were knocked out by the lush plants, furnishings, and fountain. we started the meal off with a very fresh and interesting papaya salad. my dish of seafood hurricane in sweet chili sauce was great! it was packed with a flavorful variety of seafood. my husband had the fish in garlic sauce, which also had a very fresh and flavorful sauce. the food and atmosphere were a feast for the senses!

nicky's thai kitchen. don't let your tightened budget keep you away from this treat for the senses! we loved the triple appetizer with the dipping sauces, the pad thai, the fish in basil sauce, and the mixed seafood in garlic sauce. all of the dishes were beautiful, healthy, so fresh, expertly prepared, and delicious. we finished off with three desserts that were also very new to me and tasty. the pumpkin custard, banana coconut roll and the mango with sticky rice were a wonderful treat!

favorite. i love the spicy green beans with vegetables and chicken. i talk about it all the time. i am slightly obsessed. nicky's is the best spot for lunch. the meals are fresh and delicious. it is fun to sit outside with a bottle of wine on friday and saturday night in their gorgeous patio. the staff is friendly and every meal there is stupendous.

every bite was delicious. i can't really find anything bad to say about nicky's thai kitchen, and as my friends would tell you that is quite a compliment on its own.

the atmosphere almost makes you forget you are in north side. the ambience once you walk through the doorway to the restaurant is refreshing and uplifting.

the staff are friendly and very nice, which makes the dining experience that much more enjoyable.

my friend and i split the appetizer sampler and i had a tofu dish and a thai tea. everything was wonderful. cooked just right and the taste was excellent.

this place has definitely been added to my must visit again list.

something besides a sandwich on the northside. wow, when i heard i could buy food on the ns that was not between two pieces of bread and was ethnic in nature i almost passed out. it's about time!!! anyway, this is a fantastic place. the food is solid. now if the northside can could only land an indian, dim sum, sushi place(s) next.

well done!. nicky's thai kitchen is just the type of place the northside has been looking for. the atmosphere is great and the food is absloutely delicious. it's the type of restaurant that makes you say..."hey i know this great little thai place." it is a gem!

great food! you must visit!. visited nicky's for the first time. i'm a northsider and couldn't be happier to see another great restaurant in our neighborhood! great menu, good prices, and a quiet, quaint atmosphere. highly recommended!

relaxing. this gem of a restaurant is the perfect break for a middle of the day meal. we arrived five minutes after closing and they saw us at the door and allowed us to eat although they were clearly going on break. the experience was pleasant and the atmosphere slowed time for just a moment. the price was spot on. ( 25.00 for two with appetizers )
