a favourite of mine. everything i've had at ngoc van is fantastic. i especially enjoy the viet subs and pho. i recommend this place to everyone i know.

good!. this is a restaurant i frequent and really think their noodles are the best in the city! there are far too many noodle shops in the city where one day the soup will be super flavorful, and the next day it will taste watered down. the soup is always flavorful, noodles are never overcooked, and they never skimp out on the extras like beef and veggies. they are consistent! they also sell banh mi (vietnamese subs) which are not only delicious but dirt cheap! |(3.50 i believe) they sell bubble tea as well but i would advise against getting it because too often i find the bubbles to be hard and frozen, instead of soft and chewy as they should be.

yum. i go here all the time for lunch. i love their soups and subs. the service is fast and the food is good.

it is what it is.... it didn't impress me - it didn't disappoint me - it simply fed me...

i stopped there today for lunch. the restaurant saw quite a brisk lunchtime trade - evidently there is a reasonable number of patrons who appreciate this place.
although rarely do i opt for the buffet - it seemed to which the locals were most drawn.
basic. not especially diverse or unique - certainly not that warm...
but all the same, certainly edible.
i think it was $11 bucks.

my boyfriend and i liked coming here for noodle soup but their service is really bad. we're are the type of people who would just let things go and not complain, but we've had enough. the lady dropped plastic forks. she picked them up, checked if anyone saw it. pretented to throw them in the garbage but hid on the side of the fridge and placed them back in the pile. eveytime we go there they just greet us with "how many?" and after taking the payment they dont even look at us or make any conversation even after we say thank you - nothing not even an eye contact. the lady almost broke my boyfriend's card for forcing it into the machine while shaking her head in front of us as if we're too dumb to use the machine, but it was actually the machine prompting an error message. it really put us in a bad mood. so disappointing ...

been coming here for years, i have noticed over the past year that the flavour and quality is becoming hit and miss. very good congee and the soups are usually good ... sometimes bland sometimes salty

my main gripe is the tiny woman that seats you and takes the orders. she rushes you, and many many times didn't write a thing down and brought me the wrong dish.

what happened to the prices? they almost doubled in the past few months ??????!

average dim sum. just tiny portions of regular dishes. shanghai noodles 1/5 of regular size $4.50. regular size dish $12

salt for dayzzzzz.. pho broth tasted of immense salt. if you like sucking on a rock salt, this joint is for you. no complaints about service, i felt welcomed.

regina's food scene is a disappointment - suitable for the city conditions. over-priced rubbish everywhere. i do enjoy cheap buffets throughout the city though.

love going to this place.. i enjoy the food, services is quick and the price is right. though service could rapport with customer and reno the place but the price your paying for everything those are just minor issues. one more thing there bubble tea is awesome.

amazing! love it!. i am lost if i can't go to gnoc van at least once a week. i have loved everything that i've ordered. i call it home!

good concept but.... what i like about this place is that they have banh mi (vietnamese subs), including pate in the several subs, as well as pho; a vietnamese fast food of sorts. i love banh mi, but the ngoc van banh mi are not as good as banh mi that i have had elsewhere but, taste wise, they are certainly acceptable. there are publicly available reports that concern me. these reports can be found by searching the restaurant on the government of saskatchewan site following this link: http://orii.health.gov.sk.ca/rhareport.aspx?rha=4

best place everr. i am in love with this amazing place! their service is kind, and amazing. their food is wonders, and just spectacular! they are one of my favourite restaurants everr! you guys are awesome and please continue to stay awesome!

well boys and girls, undo the button on your slacks becouse your about to be fed. great big portions. google didn't lead me awry with the best wonton soup in regina. still have plenty in my ice box. 4 meats vermicelli- get it in ya goof, it's a hard 9 on the mixed meats scale. the porkchop. now for the bubble tea, the taro root, litchi blend is sure to put your chocolate milkshake to bed. great night on my fav. eat street, korea house is just next door if your into a progressive lunch. yummmmmmm

disgusting. terrible service and the quality was horrible. ordered satay beef pho and i've never ever had pho with tomatoes and lettuce in it. the broth was thick and weird tasting. my best friend is vietnamese so i know what authentic pho tastes like. and it was terrible. sorry. dirty cutlery but the bubble tea was decent.

the vegetarian vermicelli was not appetizing at all. there were grated carrots and deep fried (mystery) mush atop vermicelli noodles, and it had no flavor. i am not a picky eater, but did not eat even half of it. my boyfriend liked his three meat vermicelli but my meal was intolerable. do not eat the vegetarian vermicelli.
