finally i am able to come try out the food here. the bubble teas are great nice and refreshing. between 3 of us we had three dishes to say their servings are generous is an under statement. the wonton was delicious and light so nice to have wonton where the broth has flavor not just tasting like water. the vermacelli with 4 meats was delicious and the chow mein was full of veggies and very delectable. over all was very impressed and satisfied.

just alright.. i think the food quality has gone down over the years, much more greasy now then it used to be and pricier. overall not bad if you need a quick fix but other places are better.

good stuff. ordered the duck-fried rice, pho with beef and beef tripe, and the cantonese chow mein for takeout. they give you large portions, and all dishes were very good, esp. the duck. hard to find an asian restaurant in the city which offers duck dishes (can't think of any others ones aside from peking house and new town). anyways, judging by the crowd lined up at the till to order it seems like a popular place. the girl working the till was ridiculously cute too. i'll be ordering from here again for sure.

best soup in the city. i get the war wonton soup probably every other week. the best in the city for sure. during lunch they're almost scary fast at getting your food out. love it.

average. salty soups. the pho meat is tough. this is as good as it gets for regina. the pho here is not authentic compared to toronto vancouver calgary edmonton. regina has no authentic vietnamese restaurants. all the restaurants in regina are labelled " authentic viet chinese and thai cuisine" but it's far from being authentic.

very unhappy!. read about the place in the paper and it had good reviews. decided to give it a try. working construction and from out of town i count on reviews for dining. the service was awful! i did'nt even get to try the food. after waiting for over 15 minutes she took my order and gave me a glass of water. over a half an hour later still no food and no refill on my water. i ordered fresh rolls and soup. tired of waiting with no food in sight i got up and left. would'nt go again and will let all the guys know at work about my experience.

i've had a pho/phu craving since i moved to regina 4 months ago, this is by far the best i've found here, all that was missing was the basil, but almost as good as i've found in toronto and vancouver.

just okay. the noodle bowls were good but did not hold a candle to those i've had at lang's. i decided to stray after seeing the good reviews but i will be going back to lang's for my next noodle fix.

excellent vietnamese fare. the food is indeed excellent and i especially loved their vietnamese subs. the pickled vegetables combined with the assorted meats worked perfectly and proved to be more than a reasonable deal considering that it was only $5.

both the vermicelli and congee also tasted great and arrived in very large servings. i was honestly surprised to see so much beef in my congee and the 4 meat vermicelli was brimming with delicious rolls, sausages, and marinated meats. i left the restaurant very, very full.

ngoc van was full of diners by the time noon arrived and the atmosphere became very busy. the service was mediocre, considering that some servers were decent while others seemed to find the diners' requests a nuisance. overall, ngoc van serves very fresh food for great prices and large portions. i highly recommend giving them a try.
