new pho bo ga la

been here twice. i only tried the pho and it was quite good. standard portion size. medium was good enough for me.serviceis always very fast.

s11 tum kha soup (shrimp only) it is the best tum kha soup i have had!. the medium is a big enough size. that spring rolls were good too, they bring them out fresh!

the bubble tea is average i would just go down the road to get some.

each time i have gone in there theserviceis not bad, they got young guys working there who were quick and efficient. we asked for extra lemons and he brought a bowl full.

bad experience. this has been me and my moms go-to pho place for years now. with ownership changes time-to-time it has kept up well but after today we will not be returning...

we don't expect muchservicefrom employees so this wasn't a new issue. first thing we noticed was the table condiments (i.e. siracha) was incredibly watered down as for the peanut sauce with the shrimp rice wraps.

being cheap in this sense never helps a business...just loses customers.

the broth in the noodle soup was salty as if it were loaded with msg, beef was overdone and old.

so disappointed! this used to be the best pho spot in ottawa. i do not recommend anymore.

bradp. been coming to this place for over 7 years, food andservicehave really gone down hill . was amazing place before , now always feel rushed to finish your pho. staff was rude and unhelpful . it seems the little things are missing. when they stopped serving lettuce with the spring rolls i knew it was time to change restaurants.

great variety, fastserviceand clean appearance but if you go deep into the menu your selection may be less than perfect. first thing off-putting was the waiter asked us to place a handful of loose chopsticks in the condiment caddy situated on the table. we complied but commented that the chopsticks couldn´t be very clean with all the handling. the waiter shrugged indifferently and asked for our order. we were four: two opted for classic pho but the remaining two... a chicken noodle soup proved a disappointment. the thinly sliced leg meat overcooked, stiff and relegated to a serviette on the side. the spicy pork bowl was simply insipid. if not for condiments provided the two latter meals would have resulted in bland. as for the two classic diners, happy as larks! two out of four, not a good score.

generally good food but argumentative and indifferent staff. they screwed up our order and then only partially fixed it. the fact that we are regulars at this restaurant meant nothing. one "waiter" announced to my amazement that he "didn't care" about our problem.
learn about how to operate a business and treat people with generosity of spirit or get the hell out of the foodserviceindustry. we left no tip ...

favourite pho in ottawa. this is my favourite place for pho in the city. it's cheap, theserviceis friendly, the place is clean, and the food itself is flavourful, and the portions are generous.

my favourite pho restaurant by far. the food is always delicious, and delivered quickly even on a busy evening. great on late nights. you have to put aside that theserviceis pretty non-existent, that's just how it is.

good distance and good food!. went to the restaurant a while ago. the distance wasn't as far as pho bo ga la 2...but the food was still good.

theservicewas pretty good although it was pretty slow since they had to serve many people. the food wasn't so expensive and the noodle soup that i had was pretty good. not as much msg as pho bo ga la 2 but still had a lot.

i would definitely recommend this place especially if you don't want to walk too far into chinatown. a good place to have a midnight snack.

decent. the food is very good, with decent portion sizes. everything appears to be quite clean. the prices are average for vietnamese which is good compared to other restaurant types. it was very busy when we went. theserviceis not that friendly but you are served quickly (almost as though it is a production line). we plan to go back.

great bowl of pho!. i met my uncle here on a chilly tuesday night for a steamy bowl of pho. i ordered some pork spring rolls to start and rare beef pho soup. tasty broth and good amount of beef, noodle, onion ratio. proper garnishes; basil, lime, sprouts, coriander, and the fiery red chili. that sold me. spring rolls were tasty but could of been a bit bigger. having just moved to ottawa, i will try other pho shops, but i am impressed with my first bowl so far here! my uncles salad rolls he said were excellent. and for those of you who rate thereservicebad, what do you expect? if your looking for what i deem "phoney waiter/ess syndrome" ( forced transparent saran wrap enthusiasm) then go get your food moxiesized and leave the pho out of it. the guys were busy, they were attentive and brought me delicious food fast. done. excellent.

the pho here is alright - i've had a lot better. the soup was a bit more oily than anticipated, but theservicehere is top notch. they are very fast. but i would want to try other pho's to see how they fare up with this place before coming back.

used to be good. i used to go there alot, moved out of town and came back visiting old friends and we went there theirserviceis really bad and the place is very messy.
